you are using DHS product yourself so you know they all come with the scratchy -sticker and one can check for authenticity. From a photo I don't think we could possibly arrive at a proper conclusion.

.................and I 100% disagree. We are not talking about a $ 15 blade here. Good money was spend and for that sort of money we are entitled to good craftsmanship, good material and no faults at all. The "scratches" look like the are made with a sharp blade,maybe something else is wrong...

better lightly block-sand because it might save you trouble when gluing the rubbers on and especially when you will take the rubbers off. Also , some do and some don't but especially in this situation I would seal the blade.

of course it is always disappointing when we receive some crap from anywhere and indeed QC is often questionable . However I am more intrigued how these "rised non-scratches " could actually happen. Do you think they would disappear with a light block-sand using maybe 280 grit sandpaper ???

If you use hard chinese rubbers even without (or especially without) boosting you will get the sound mostly when you flat-hit. :ROFLMAO:
