I still got some of the old stock and one has to really pull with quite a force to get the clear protector plastic off the rubber.
Regardless of language knowledge, which has stopped counting since google translator, no manufacturer has given a reason or an explanation for the reduced stickiness.
We did noticed that DHS H3 and many rubbers from many chines brands have become much less sticky in the last couple of years or so. Lots of speculation but I have yet to get a proper "official explanation" from any source.
