  1. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

+1 on serve and receive, and a good 3rd ball attack is also important. For this season I was asked to play in a team that played 2 levels higher then I played at the time. I was the 3th highest ranked player of my league group. When I saw the new group online I was the 4th lowest rated player...
  2. Sanwei V5 Pro - how to use to get max capability of this blade?

Rubbers and blade are from the same brand, so probably not a missmatch there. But it could be a missmatch with your playstyle.
  3. best rubber for bh flip/flick?

Pretty much any mainstream rubber can do it. Hurricane, Fastarc, Rakza, Rasanter, Bluefire, MX-P, Tacky Hybrid... It doesnt matter, they can all do it. What matters is the ability to extend your contact time over the table, so you can grab the ball properly before it drops down into the net. A...
  4. It doesn't matter what equipment you play with.

I agree, it doesnt matter what you play with. Eventually you will get used to it. You might experience some limitations if you play with low quality equipment like a camping racket. Even if you were to give a Viscaria Super ALC to a complete beginner, he will get used to it and play alright...
  5. Is modern table tennis changing rubber technology trends?

It all depends on your technique and way of striking the ball. If you have a more relaxed way of striking the ball, hard rubbers wont work for you. You need more exlposiveness to grab the ball properly with a harder rubber. So harder is not necessarely better, but a harder rubber has more speed...
  6. What helped you get better at backhand rallying?

What exactly goes wrong when your opponent plays this very slow ball? I can list 100 solutions, but it would be easier if I know what happens.
  7. Is Ovtcharov blade good? Comparisons and reviews

Its definitely not a bad blade. It all depends on your playing style. Its made for Dimas playing style. Powerful direct topspins from mid distance. If you want to play a blocking game close to the table, then the Harimoto will suit you better. If you dont necessarily want a blade for a...
  8. Is Franziska Innerforce ZLC Blade more controllable than ALC blades?

My coach told me that the regular IF ZLC can have massive differences in playing properties as well. And the weight seems to be related. You can get one as light as 83gr. but also as heavy as 93gr. The weight in the Franziska seems to be more consistent. But I bought my IF ZLC 2nd hand at 91gr...
  9. When you are having a bad day...

Whenever I have an off-day where I miss lots of shots I usually make is to start playing at 70-80% first and make sure I hit the balls on the table. Thats how the points are won. I could keep trying to force the balls on the table by playing 100%, but that will only lead to more misses. You...
  10. Is Franziska Innerforce ZLC Blade more controllable than ALC blades?

The Franziska will actually stay cleaner then the IF ZLC and Harimoto. The yellow will eventually get a little grey-ish when using it for longer. The grey in the Franziska will probably also de-colour a little, but I dont think you will notice it as much.
  11. Is Franziska Innerforce ZLC Blade more controllable than ALC blades?

I like G-1, its perfect on my backhand. It does everything I want it to do. For my forehand I am content with G-1, but I prefer Hybrid K3. Unfortunately that only lasted me 6 weeks, so I went back to G-1. I am currently waiting for Genextion V2C to come out and give that a go.
  12. Finally grasped the essence of table tennis biomechanical principle Chinese style! (Chain reaction of power from the ground) (UPDATED AGAIN)

Good one! Looks like you got it right! At first its not a bad thing to exaggerate a bit to get the right movement down. As you practice more you will learn on how to do it more efficiently with smaller movements.
  13. New Genextion V2C (Hybrid) from Nittaku

Thanks! Thats actually perfect, season ends on April 18th
  14. Is Franziska Innerforce ZLC Blade more controllable than ALC blades?

They all play roughly the same. The biggest difference between them is the weight; Franziska ZLC: ~86 gr. IF ZLC: ~90 gr. Harimoto ZLC: 92 gr. I would say the Franziska and Harimoto are slightly more headheavy with heavier rubbers. The IF ZLC is more balanced. So whatever weight and balance...
  15. How do I save this old Timo Boll Spirit?

Mine is not a black tag, but is decently old (2013), and the edges also look a bit like that, but not as much. Do you use a scissor to cut your rubbers? I also used to use a scissor and I would have edges like that on my blades because of cutting a bit too tight around the edges resulting in...
  16. New Genextion V2C (Hybrid) from Nittaku

Any news on when this rubber will be released?
  17. Help me choose a blade for me

I was thinking about Innerforce ZLC. It has everything you required, until you mentioned using H3 on both sides. ALC seems to be a more popular combination with H3. But ALC dampens vibrations more.
  18. Haifu, white, black, yellow oils

I quote from the video: "I applied 1 thin layer of the booster, approx ~2 grams directly on the sponge and allowed it to fully absorb."
  19. Haifu, white, black, yellow oils

I havent used black myself, only white. So I wouldnt know the difference. I have seen a video from the pongprofessor testing various boosters and he said in the results that the effecct felt very weak and minimal; BUT its important to note that he used it on the non-NEO commercial verrsion...
  20. Haifu, white, black, yellow oils

I actually did mean DHS H3. From what I read is that the black version doesnt soften the sponge as much as the yellow and white versions do. So they claimed that the white version is meant for blue sponge, yellow is meant for orange sponge, and that the softening of the sponge with these...
