  1. A table tennis AI???

I mean, if the app works as well as expected, and isnt too expensive, it will spread quickly. Im not a marketing expert though. But you shouldnt develop the app for the sake of it paying off. Thats probably a quick way of setting yourself up for disappointment. You should develop it because...
  2. A table tennis AI???

Im sorry but thats not going to work for anyone... Especially assuming the majority of the users wil be beginners and amateurs looking to improve their game. They wont remember all these 'helpful tips'. What I would be looking for in a tactical AI coach would be to record and analyse my matches...
  3. Ovtcharov alc vs fzd alc vs boll alc or any blade recommendation

Out of these 3, the best one is probably Boll ALC that fits your description. But there is a few options to consider. Are you a forehand or backhand player? Forehand = Boll ALC; backhand = Viscaria/FZD ALC Do you play close or away from the table? Close is Boll/FZD ALC; away = Ovtcharov ALC 2...
  4. Timo Boll no longer using 09C

Interesting find! I spotted Adriana Diaz with a different racket as well during the Waldner Cup. Looks to be the same blade!
  5. Medium hard rubber for backhand

I mean, I dont really see a difference in our opinions, so I dont know what part you dissagree on here
  6. Which part of body use is more important when doing forehand topspin?

This video should help you. Ti Long talks about focussing on rotating your right toe. When you do this, your hip, your body and everything will follow automaticly.
  7. Is short pips answer to receiving serves?

Dont take the ball too early. Take more spinny serves on the descend. This makes the spin less strong. Contact straight serves (straight backspin, topspin or no spin on the front. Contact sidespin serves on the side.
  8. HOT DAMN !!! This coach teaches FH Slow/Heavy loop exactly every key point Der_Echte values !!!

Sorry I have to disagree. I think its bad to assume short a short return first. Because unless you play at a semi-pro level, 99/100 pushes will go long. Most people dont practice short returns enough.
  9. HOT DAMN !!! This coach teaches FH Slow/Heavy loop exactly every key point Der_Echte values !!!

I mean if its that close to the edge I'd rather save my hand and racket and play a flick or push instead depending on the incoming ball. Not only are you risking to hit the table, but if you manage to succesfully pull a ball that that low, that close to the table it will be (most likely) a low...
  10. HOT DAMN !!! This coach teaches FH Slow/Heavy loop exactly every key point Der_Echte values !!!

I would say that looping below the table is a good starting point. Because if you can loop it consistently that late, you develop the technique to also consistently loop it above the table and everything in between. Also, the lower you let the ball drop, the more you have to pull the ball...
  11. Andro signed Taiwan no 2, Kao Cheng-Jui

They never cost that much. If you buy 2 from Dandoy you get a 15% discount, and they will cost €68 each. If you buy 4 for the whole season, you get 25% off and they cost €60 a piece. If you see a website that doesnt give you any discount on NUZN just buy it from a different website.
  12. HOT DAMN !!! This coach teaches FH Slow/Heavy loop exactly every key point Der_Echte values !!!

I'd like to add this video as well. Makes looping half-long balls so much easier.
  13. Which fh rubber?

Well if you really want a rubber that has no catapult at all and isnt hard then I reccomend either Yasaka Sriver, or even Sriver FX. Or Yasaka Mark V. These are mainstream rubbers from the pre-tensor era.
  14. Which fh rubber?

And have you tried other blades before? Because the blade is the base of you bat. If the blade isnt right, then no matter what rubbers you put on, it wont feel right.
  15. Which fh rubber?

Isnt that a defensive blade? Do you play defensively?
  16. Which fh rubber?

If all these soft rubbers you mentioned dont work for you, I would start by looking at what blade you are using. It sounds like its too fast for you. And if the blade is too fast, its hard to solve this with slower rubbers. So, what blade are you using @mat ?
  17. Is a Butterfly Super ALC more controllable than an ALC blade?

And to answer your question wheather SALC is more controllable then ALC, my answer is: it depends. If someone has a worse technique but good touch, the less effort needed with the VSALC can feel like they have more control. Because they can focus more on the game rather then having to put their...
  18. Is a Butterfly Super ALC more controllable than an ALC blade?

I have had a good ammount of hits with a Viscaria Super ALC (VSALC) and I have used a Timo Boll Spirit (TBS, N serial number = 2013) for some time so that what Im using as a comparison. SALC seems more elastic but stiffer. So it feels softer then ALC, but the ball is faster and the trajectory...
  19. Butterfly Timo Boll zlf vs Xiom Hugo Calderano HAL/SAL

Im currently using the ZLF and I have had a few hits with the HAL from a clubmate that was using the same rubbers as me (Fastarc G-1). Both felt like they had the same 'behaviour' when playing. The biggest difference I noticed was the weight, and handle. The HAL has a bigger handle, and was...
