  1. Dignics and its Effect on Sales of Tenergy and Rozena

I couldnt agree more. People are still complaining about Butterfly being too expensive. Other brands are now putting out rubbers that cost €65-80. Meanwhile Tenergy still costs €60.
  2. Best carbon blade for stepping up from wood

Whats the reason you want to get a carbon blade? Hardraw 5 is quite fast for a 5 ply allwood blade.
  3. Your backhand sucks? It's ok brother, don't cry! We're in this together for the long run....

It is definetely a fear thing. For me personally I was affraid to follow through on dead balls, because I was affraid I wouldnt lift the ball enough if would strike the ball and finish with the racket head foreward. So I would always tilt my racket a bit backwards when striking the ball. Kind of...
  4. [Concluded] Looking for an ‘all wood alternative’ for Viscaria

I see people are still posting here. I would like to give an update to what I eventually went with and to also conclude this thread. At the time I was coming from a Sanwei V5 Pro. This blade was alright. I liked its feeling on topspin shots, it was a hard feeling blade, but it grabbed the ball...
  5. Your backhand sucks? It's ok brother, don't cry! We're in this together for the long run....

As someone that has had an awful backhand untill recent developments, I would like to add a 4th point to hopefully help alot of people: 4. Finish your (damn) stroke(!). You talk about being at square 1. but most people forget what exactly is square 1 of the backhand (or any stroke)? The...
  6. How do Pros train to "retain" a skill?

Sounds like you dont fully understand how to do the shot and there is something wrong in the execution. Fang Bo said it best: dont rely on feeling, make sure to get the technique down. With the right technique you dont need feeling.
  7. Small wings

Wing sizes definitely differ between brands. I recently switched from Yasaka Ma Lin Carbon to Butterfly Timo Boll ZLF and I notice the wings more then with my previous blade. This feeling will go away after some time. You might get blisters once or twice though, but eventually your finger will...
  8. Need advice for a allround+ blade with a big handle

Really? I always thought the handle of Korbel was rather thick.

Back issues are common in every sport. But you should discuss that with a physical therapist.
  11. W968 number 3 vs Stiga Inspira Hybrid

I dont know, I dont have experience with DHS blades.
  12. W968 number 3 vs Stiga Inspira Hybrid

No I didnt say its like a Golden Vis. I said that people that compared it to Viscaria said it to be closer to Golden Vis then then regular Vis. Gan said this in his review.
  13. W968 number 3 vs Stiga Inspira Hybrid

I find your choice of blade a bit... Interesting. If you want to replace your W968, why are you looking at the Inspira Hybrid? Its a completely different composition. If you are looking for something to replace your W968 then buy a Hurricane Long 5 instead. Its not exactly the same as W968, but...
  14. Let's talk about Backhand...

There is not 1 backhand stroke for all situations. There is a really interesting video of Heming Hu demonstrating 3 different types of backhands; The 1st one he demonstrates is more the 'frisbee' backhand. The 2nd and 3rd are more the 'Ma Long type' backhand. I found the 2nd and 3rd backhand...
  15. What is the technical reason Ma Long and top pros love W968?

I remember watching one of Pingsundays videos where he was talking about the equipment of Chinese pros. That you need the required technique and physical strength to unlock its true potential. He talked about Ma Longs racket: "The racket might feel dead to most people, but in the hands of Ma...
  16. What is the technical reason Ma Long and top pros love W968?

I am with @Tony's Table Tennis on this one. There’s nothing wrong with posting many threads, because it contributes to people being more active here. But whenever you do post a thread you seem to dismiss 95% of the answers with replying: “no this is not the answer I was looking for, please try...
  17. *VIDEO* - Please help me decide on a forehand rubber! 🙏

Yeah yeah yeah I am aware that there is choppers that do use sticky rubbers, and that probably every chopper in China uses H3. And I admit that I might be a bit old fashioned and stubborn on this topic. But I can't help myself seeing that so many people here are reccommending rubbers that are...
  18. *VIDEO* - Please help me decide on a forehand rubber! 🙏

Too hard, Tenergy 19 will be easier to use. Same goes for the VS 401 (also too hard). Like I said, all the pro choppers use Tenergy. Even Joo Se-Hyuk used Tenergy when he still played. Tenergy 19 is a rubber that will suit your needs.
