Wondering what are the characteristics of this rubber. Is it basically the same tacky chinese topsheet as the h3 neos? Or are there differences. Softer sponge.
Sorry for replying so late. Nice to hear about your experiences using hi oki blades. Would you mind to share to us more about it and your playstyle? What are the changes between table tennid of the 80s and now?
For modern 1 sided jpen I think the blades that can cope with modern playstyle is the Xiom Hibi O Tour series. Head tip is slightly narrowed of to make it less head heavy for faster forehand to backhand switching.
About that
About that, I suggest you look at the videos of Ryu vs Joo Sae Hyuk. You can see how he has to change his style to get over Joo who is all to used to Ryu's playstyle. You can see he keeps his stance lower than usual and bat angle is wider, more open. He also seems to pull the ball...
May not be totally accurate but I believe what Ryu meant is that racket angle alone need not justify totally on how shallow or long the ball hits on the opponents side of the table. In the video he mentioned that one can contact the ball very thinly, meaning very closed racket angle, and still...
When I saw Dima play penhold I was surprised by his rpb. Wondering if the stroke for shakehand backhand is similar to rpb. Asking as a player whom never played shakehand before.
Know about all 3, just maybe not full list.
Actually who made me interested to sign up in this forum was @SFF_lib responses in a foru. I believe was about the Darker Speed jpens.
Thank you @Gozo Aruna . About going for coaching I'll have to save up myself to go for coaching, and not many coaches teach penhold, let alone Jpen now. I guess for now YouTube and this forum will be my coach.
