They aren’t hugely different, but I found the Ovtcharov to be faster and stiffer with a more dynamic feel - from me and my style a much better blade.

They are nice rubbers, and for what it's worth the top sheet feels quite soft, giving the rubbers a softer feel than might be expected.

They are very different - K3 is 53 deg vs Hybrid H which is 50 deg. Despite this, in my experience hybrid H or Xh is less bouncy and had less catapult than H3.

I have lost most of my lost matches this season vs pips players, but I’m closing that gap slowly but surely - it’s a puzzle, but it’s solvable..

I have recently been trying hybrid XH on FH and Hybrid H on BH and I love them - right up there with the best hybrids. Also have Platinum H and liked that on Bh too.

Have been trying a few Stiga rubbers lately and been very impressed - got these two for my Inspira plus.

Interesting thoughts, thanks for sharing and look forward to hearing more as you continue to spend time with it. I am certainly finding harder rubbers (50-52.5) feel great but am also keen to try D09c on it as my feeling is that it will work well.

So played a match tonight with the DNA hybrid H on FH and platinum H on BH - it felt very good all round and in particular the FH hybrid. I need to flip it and see how I like the hybrid on BH vs the Platinum. Also keen to see how the XH compares to H on FH.

So I am pleased to tell you this arrived today - 89g as requested and freq is 1418hz which coincidentally is identical to my Ovtcharov ALC. I have put a sheet of Q Power and Z2 on FH/BH which is the same as on the Ovtcharov, so I can compare. Head shape is different and balance slightly...

Good luck in that! I would recommend either Z2 or DNA Plat H - the latter is new to me and it appears pretty similar to Z2 but with a little more grip and tackiness. Both are great BH rubbers for me.

I also use an Ovtcharov ALC with D09c on FH but I think that whilst D05 is maybe not an easy BH rubber, there are other options that are less soft and bouncy than T05FX. My two favourites are Hammond Z2 and DNA Platinum Hard. Both are also 50 deg but feel much softer and easier to use than D05...

Thanks for the simplification - that makes sense to me in terms of the feel, I just need to think harder about the practical application in a loop situation (and I am struggling mentally to see how I apply a more open racket head to an attacking loop)
