Rozena isn't slow in my experience, just a lot more controllable than T05 - on a Korbel it might be what you need if you are working on all those good things NL etc have been suggesting ;-) Falcima is a nice blade and like an all wood Viscaria, so very crisp and with a nice handle and balance -...

Korbel is slower - my Falcima was pretty fast for a 5 ply and certainly as fast as some carbon blades with a frequency of 1380hz (Vs for example 1440 for my Viscaria)

Stiga Inspira plus - very similar structure with thinner outer ply and more feel and control but no less speed once activated. As a Viscaria lover (and user of Boll/LGY/FZD etc) this is the best blade I have played with of this type.

That could be partly attributable to the blade, as the Ovtcharov has a lower throw..

I agree - he made Freitas look like a player in another league. His play on both semi and final was absolutely incredible in my opinion, lethal in short game and attack on both wings…

I love Z2 but wouldn’t say it fits the bill for you given what you have said. The rubber I have found closest to, but slightly more forgiving than D09C is DNA hybrid XH - which at 52.5 deg is a fair bit softer than D09 but plays beautifully and in the same class.

Main thing for me, given my league matches often have one table and very little warm up time, is that I try to spend 30 mins before I leave at my table at home practicing serves as I find this gives me a feel for the ball. Not ideal as then I travel to the venue etc...
