Agree with this - plenty of non ticket holders present at Manchester I think, although I may have been too pessimistic on my estimates. Stands were pretty sparse and only one small section. Table side was only on finals day and added maybe 100 but a fair few looked to be family and local...

You may be right regards Ranefur - I saw the vert close semi vs Anton last year. In my opinion he has more in his arsenal, both in shots and mentally than Anton and Jon and better touch than Kristian so I would be putting him in the mix as he continues to develop.

He was incredible - but I was super impressed with Ranefur from coming though qualifying to the final. Great attitude and one of the best BH’s I have seen for a long time. I think he will go far..

Horrible ending to mixed doubles final - 9-9 in 5th and chair ump calls a wrong side serve foul against Ukraine (no chance he could see it) - ruined match and was almost certainly the wrong call looking at video. Surprised Hungarians kept quiet too..

Allegro looked very good tonight and dug in deep - I am hopeful but realistic. That match winner is the winner IMO as Mutti and Ranfeur are not in the same league.

That certainly seemed to be the case in his quarter final vs Mutti today - he was out of sorts, then fell in game 2 and lost 2 and 3, then pulled out… Having watched Allegro, Deseung, and Robles play some outstanding TT I can’t see how he’d have won this anyway..

M is 47.5 deg sponge so closest in hardness terms - the H & XH are less bouncy than T05.

Stiga Inspira Plus is the closest I have played - I think it’s a better blade with more feel and I don’t find it to be faster close to table.
