Hammond Z2 worth a look - great rubber that feels a little softer than it is

I find it a bit tackier and a bit more spin and control - not quite as bouncy.

How do you know him? He said he was about 1400 but he looked better than that to me.

Hammond Z2 is fantastic on BH

It’s a great rubber - one of the best harder tacky rubbers I have used on my FH. I have just ordered a sheet of A2 to try on BH.

I can relate. I do think that there’s a trade off as I focus on technique and building foundations at the expense of match play and winning. I’m hoping it will pay back over time!

That's tough Ian - sorry to hear that. It is really difficult to turn any sort of bad start around for me, whether in a game or a match. Pimples also always going to challenge your speed of thinking too so doesn't help. Good on you for going.

I am really liking Donic Bluestar A1 as a harder / tacky rubber on FH and also Hammond Z2 on BH.
