  1. Stiga Mantra H/Pro H

I bought a sheet of Mantra Pro M from Aliexpress. No complaints! Just choose a seller with many units sold and good reviews.
  2. I want to make smaller head of desk

  3. I'm an intermediate beginner putting together a 0 racket

The Long 3 is way too expensive to be considered a good recommendation for an intermediate beginner.
  4. Blade Lacquering Service

No, it's free when ordering a blade from them :)
  5. Blade Lacquering Service

The MAIN purpose of sealing a blade is to stop the blade surface from splintering/tearing when removing a glued sheet of rubber from it. Done properly it should not have any noticeable effects. (I would recommend using it)
  6. Switch away from Chinese FH rubber, what to choose?

I was gonna say G-1, which is pretty linear for being a tensor, but then noted you wrote harder than 47,5. Sanwei Gear Hyper is said to be a Chinese made tensor rubbers. 38 and 39 degrees hardness should be well above 47,5 ESN scale. Or do you want something with much trampoline effect?
  7. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Yeah, I was thinking Big Dipper, C-1, Korea and Mantra Pro M as BH rubbers and the rest as FH rubbers!
  8. New rubber recommendation for my boss

I took his word for wanting something faster an went with MX-P, he seems satisfied with it! I don't think he's that much into TT that he would consider paying a coach..
  9. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Anyone want to help an EJ pairing blades with rubbers? I want to try different combinations to see what I like and don't like. So far I think I'm going to glue J3 Asia (38) and Big Dipper (38) on the Timber 5 Off, but other than that I'm not sure what combinations to go for. The R48 is in max...
  10. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

During our lunch breaks at work we play TT in the basement of our office building. One of my colleagues have a (premade) Stiga Pulse 5-star. I asked to try it and the racket itsself was OK. However, the way it felt in my hand was REALLY good! Anyone know if some of the regular Stiga blades have...
  11. Fextra One (The new improved Fextra 7)

Weird, I felt my Fextra One had far greater finishing than the Fextras i have. (I sold my Fextra One before trying it out with rubbers)
  12. Rubbers to pair with DHS Hurricane 301

So I've gotten this blade and have the following rubbers, and I'm not sure which of them I should put on the FH: LAC Apollo 5 38 Apollo 5 40 J3 Asia 38 Gear Hyper 38 Vega Korea R48 (max) Any suggestions?
  13. Is it harder to learn to play table tennis or guitar

How long is a piece of string? It depends entirely on what you set as a benchmark for having "learned" TT or playing guitar. Getting the basic strokes in TT down in a slow and somewhat correct fashion on easy balls fed from a coach + understanding the rules is IMO easier than learning to read...

  15. Best BH rubber (xiom vega)

I found Vega Europe to be rather dead in the spin department. Super safe rubber for recieve of serves IMO. Decent for quick rallies close to the table where you don't get the most amount of spin.
  16. Xiom new collection (2024)

Have anyone compared the Offensive S with the new Hayabusa OFF Pro?
  17. Wood grain on outer layers

I have four Fextra 5 blades (koto outer). Three of them have the same scaly look as your 75 inner. I would highly suggest sealing it :)
  18. 2x Sanwei 75 Inner. fake?

Funny, I have two Fextra 5s with the same difference on the top plies. One that has the "normal" wood pattern (if that's a thing) and one that clearly looks like koto (scaly).
