  1. why wait to dry the glue?

apparently its not that bad gluing them together when wet according to some germans: https://soulspin.de/en/table-tennis-tutorials/wet-gluing-table-tennis-rubbers/
  2. why wait to dry the glue?

VERY interesting..... when I thought of "wet gluing" myself I was exactly thinking of putting plastic sheets on top and bottom, paper. place the blade on a flat surface (edge of table). piece of wood on top. and my 5kg weight lifting plate on top and leave it there until morning.
  3. why wait to dry the glue?

ah yes, might be the issue. i have several. ill try another one next time.

I just spend 320$ on 4x D09c so I will put a hold on buying new rubbers(except cheap chinese ones maybe) for the time being. In the meantime the K3 is still alive so far. its been 2 months now. It lost some tackiness first month and I think some top players cant live with the slight difference...

so I never boosted before in my life. besides speed does boosting also affect spin capacity somehow? I would assume k3 loose some of its spin potency over time as well right? I just received some Haifu Seamoon booster. first time user. should do the trick too right?

ah ok. I see. This is exactly what I would have said about playing the k3 the first 2-3 weeks or so. but then I got used to it and I found a connection to the rubber that is now there. But it was overwhelming at first. How long did you play the 09c?
  7. Big Dipper, Loki Arthur China experience.

did you try boost the k3? I heard some rubbers dont respond to boosting.

interesting. I just spend 320$ on 4 sheets haha. I would love to hear what the difference was in experience between the K3 and 09c? its not easy to play with? in what ways?
  10. why wait to dry the glue?

So I was gluing my rubbers today. Having a hard time making the glue sit very evenly without creating small lines with the sponge. Also bubbles happened on the rubber sponge part. and small little sand size grainy things. And if you take too long to apply your getting areas already dried and it...

interesting how 2 people can have such different experiences. I never had such an easy time placing the ball in short game as I do with K3. and yes its epic in far from table too. Flicks on both wings over the table is easy too. I really wish this rubber wasnt this perfect for me as im told it...

K3 does this very well as its "dead" before the sponge gets activated. without tackiness. so LOTS of control of a high spin slow ball. you pay the price of less spin and speed with tackiness.
  13. Big Dipper, Loki Arthur China experience.

I dont really care too much about tackiness. Grip yes. K3 isn't tacky. I couldn't lift the ball even when it was new. I know others say they can but with mine I couldn't.
  14. Besides table tennis, what hobbies/sports do you do in your free time?

I run my own martial arts dojo which is then turned into a TT local club outside the class hours.

So I tried the 2 above rubbers on both viscaria blade and BTY TB CAF all wood blade. Big Dipper is my favorite to the 2. Its ok fast. maybe best if boosted I would think. spin is great. control really REALLY good. it just feels "right". gives confidence. it was good on both wood and alc blade...
  16. What is the best ESN Hybrid rubber for FH?

I have been using K3 for now 2 months or so. After first month it kind of lost its tackiness but grip, speed, control etc. feels like it just stays the same or even better. (or I got better at using it). When do you see the grip, speed, control qualities drop? after how long? I really love this...

He is pretty emotional. He gave this away in celebration of his first win in a Pro tournament.
  19. Got a racket from Anders Lind

no idea. didnt weight it when it was without rubbers. there should be data on this on both BTF and Donic websites.
  20. Got a racket from Anders Lind
