I think You need something harder, like Bluefire M1/M1Turbo or Xiom Omega V Asia, softer rubber are too springy.

Imo, if You spread well the glue and let it dry very long time (10 hours, for example), the glue become smooth and flat, and so the rubber glued; it's only needed to avoid grains on the glue layer. The rubber works fine when playing, and this is enough for me.

I think it works if it's used only a few amount of glue. Furthermore i have some doubt about waiting only one hour to cut the first rubber, i think it should dry more hours, also 12 hours for the second rubber to be ready to be cut and played seems to be too little, because water evaporate much...

I bought some other Xiom rubbers, but no issues found, all planar rubbers, Xiom Vega Europe, Asia, X. Very higher quality than Elite, however, all harder rubbers but very easy to use, at this time Asia and X was best performing, Asia for speed and X for control.

Yes, Asia has softer topsheet than X and Pro, and a bit bouncy than both X and Pro.

I found Keiler too much like a SP in 2mm sponge, but i liked it more on faster woods in 1.2mm. I think it's too spinny and sponge too soft, but i planned to retry it at the end of season. Much better Orkan II for disruption which i actually use, in the past i used Waran I 2mm, imo much better...

Xiom Vega Pro is more easy to play with if You use loops and pushes mainly. A good alternative may be Bluefire JP02. These are the harder versions of my favourite fh rubbers (XVE, BF JP03), and imo fit better to an elastic wood like yours. Tenergy 05 i think is more for advanced or pro players...
