  1. What’s a blade or rubber you keep coming back to?

Still Hurricane 3, It feels alive now with my So-ten. 41 degrees Blue Sponge, 2 layers of boost. So-ten is a really bouncy inner layer blade. It plays like an ESN rubber now but it's more the feel I love. So-ten to me is like a more balanced Viscaria.
  2. BH rubber seletion for a noob

Victas V>11. Dynamic enough, Light enough. It is 47.5 degrees though but it is by far the LIGHTEST rubber I've held in my hand.
  3. Review:Butterfly Kenta Matsudaira ALC

Oh well i must have been mistaken
  4. Review:Butterfly Kenta Matsudaira ALC

Kenta's ALC blade is a Limba Outer. Not Koto. It's the same composition as Marcos Freitas ALC and Michael Maze.
  5. how comfortable are you with hard (53+) rubber on your backhand?

Hardness of rubber depends on tactic of winning. My forehand's the one actively winning me points. While my backhand is to reduce mistakes. Unfortunately, I have weak power on backhand close to table which is why I'm very particular on weight and/or hardness.
  6. Harder option that is similar to Fastarc G1

Nope V>20 isn't a hybrid. It's more akin to a rasanter R53 than to a C53. Just because yoy use "chinese pips geometry" doesnt mean its a hybrid. It just means the topsheet's pimples are short and wide. Hybrid is tacky topsheet with a european sponge.
  7. Harder option that is similar to Fastarc G1

Unfortunately, its called Dignics 05. Since you said "harder" option. I would have said V>15 extra if you didnt. Fastarc, Tenergy that old gen is one of a kind. It's been outgrown in the new rubbers scene.
  8. Has anyone tried Xiom Omega VII Tour i?

imo I think if they want a hybrid for forehand, it's gotta be Omega 7 China on men's side. If its women's I can see them using Z52.5.
  9. Has anyone tried Xiom Omega VII Tour i?

Closest thing you'll get. Other than Omega 7 Tour. The pips of pro is thinner than tour's. But it's the closest in concept. Hell it's like the most used backhand rubber for xiom's spobsored players.
  10. Has anyone tried Xiom Omega VII Tour i?

I don't expect them to switch to J&H. But if they are it's likely going to be V47.5. Omega 7 Pro just has a special trait you can't find anywhere else. It's weight and dynamics at its weight class. Same with Omega 7 Tour i.
  11. Chen Meng using Fan Zhendong Super ALC

Well, there's a difference, Infinity MX-P is a pro version of Evolution MX-P. While V>15 sticky is most likely a different concept. I more trust that Victas will release V>15 Sticky as more of their sponsored players are using it than Infinity MX-P is.
  12. Has anyone tried Xiom Omega VII Tour i?

I sourced my rubbers from Thailand. They give me a better discount than T11 could at the same price range. I'd use TT11 for most stuff if I wasn't the only one buying. While the J&H Z52.5 is also the same price as the Tour i.
  13. Has anyone tried Xiom Omega VII Tour i?

I am almost 100% sure that Z52.5 is not similar in feeling. Z52.5 feels like it's easy to bottom out. It's catapult is active in every single stroke. It doesn't even matter how strong it is or weak, it's gonna be LAUNCHED especially if it's active. But if you put more power, it also has the same...
  14. Chen Meng using Fan Zhendong Super ALC

we've seen on duda's and niwa's racket that they are using V>15 sticky. Now It's been two years since we saw it first. If it was to be sold, there would be advertising but none have come.
  15. Chen Meng using Fan Zhendong Super ALC

Koki Niwa's changed his everything so often. From Quartet AFC to Koki Niwa - wood, ZC. Then rubbers V>15 extra, V>22, TDE, V>15 sticky. Most EJing pros would do is during the creation of a new blade or rubber. They go through many prototypes.
  16. An upgrade from V>15 extra

    Alrighty, ordered J&H V47.5, V>20 DE at lightest weight avail and H3 OS 40 deg and Double Fish DF-J2 (6.00 mm+-0.3mm lima-ayou-aromatic carbon-ayous blade).
  17. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

I actually didnt order the H2, couldn't get the 20% discount, since there was a different promo in effect. Now the So-ten's probably like H2. I like the feeling on backhand, forehand, it gives me some sort of feeling considering H3 is very dead.
  18. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

How'd it go using the TMXi Pro? Was there something lacking or didn't fit your style. Weight is an issue, big headsize, biggest I'd ever use if I bought it.
  19. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

I could also get a TMXI Pro 198 USD, or H2 for 171 USD, unsure if I can get a discount for them. Edit: But that's just the EJ in me, So-ten to me has felt amazing to me so far but with H3 OS.
