  1. Does Xiom still produce the Ice Cream AZXi blade?

Recently I have come across this series of blades and I am really interested in trying out the Xiom Ice Cream AZXi sometimes. I saw the AZXi is currently unavailable and would like to know if it is only temporary or is discontinued. I also saw the same blade with a "Pro" in its name. I am...
  2. OALC with Tenergy or Dignics !?

Since you are a fan of the Butterfly products, I can recommend the Tenergy 19 for your backhand. It is 2-3 degrees harder than the Tenergy 05 FX. It has sufficient speed, spin and control. It is not as bouncy as Tenergy 05 and hard slightly more spin. The Dignics 05, being a 40-degree hard...
  3. Korbel SK7

Review by 'GregorTT425' on item 'Korbel SK7'

Speed: This blade has a relatively high speed, a little bouncy and sometimes hard to control because of this. It was paired with two Tenergy 19s. Control: A relatively amount of control, a little bouncy for the short game. Feel: Surprisingly, this blade had a great feel, with some vibration...
  4. What are your TT goals for 2024?

I would like to develop all my skills, but especially the backhand topspin. Of course, the overall and main goal is to get better in all areas. Sticking to one particular setup will be a key element in it. :D
  5. Dignics 80 vs Mxp

The Dignics 80 would definitely have more spin. Not sure about the speed though, both are quick rubbers. The Dignics 80 would be more durable due to the lack of factory boosting, which prolongs its lifespan.
  6. Victas ZX-Gear In Vs Butterfly Innerforce Layer ZLC

The Innerforce Layer ZLC is a good choice. It has plenty of speed and good control. You can impart some serious rotation onto the ball with it (with appropriate rubbers of course).
  7. Choosing between Innerforce ZLC's

My bet would be the Innerforce Layer ZLC.
  8. Rakza Z vs Baracuda

Alright, that is good to hear! Thanks for answering!
  9. Rakza Z vs Baracuda

Thank you for all of your inputs! If you have any more, they are welcome! Anybody has an idea about how the Baracuda plays in humidity? This is something I could not test. My experience is that the Rakza Z is quite okay in humidity. Is so the Baracuda?
  10. Rakza Z vs Baracuda

Thanks! What do you think of forehand?
  11. Why are all the best choppers right handed? Is there a disadvantage as a chopper if you’re left handed?

I do not think it would a disadvantage to be a left-handed if you chop. Actually true, I have not seen left-handed choppers myself neither. Maybe the fact the best choppers are right-handed is coincidence or no idea.
  12. Rakza Z vs Baracuda

I see. Yes, I have definitely felt that the Baracuda doesn't like the incoming spin, but after a while I could get used to it. I have a spare blade, I might want to put a Baracuda on it to compare the two simultaneously. Both fits my style pretty much and only the feeling is a little different...
  13. Rakza Z vs Baracuda

These two rubbers are the ones I like the most. However I am a little confused about which one should I pick. People who have used both! Which do you think would be better in the long term regarding spin? I'm pretty much sure Baracuda would be faster, thus Rakza Z would be more controlled. But...
  14. New blade - suggestions

Sounds good, but you will have to practice a lot with the backhand rubber, the chopping is not the easiest stroke.
  15. Stuor long V cybershape vs stuor cybershape alc vs lemuria cybershape alc

I have heard good reviews about the Long V clone.
  16. What’s a blade or rubber you keep coming back to?

Once I tried the Donic Baracuda, which I have found quite comfortable to use. But after a while I returned to the Tenergy 19, the one I had been using when I decided to switch the Baracuda. I have ultimately left Tenergy for being too pricey, too bouncy and not really durable.
  17. Can you "quick-clean" your hybrid rubber with your breath and palms?

Thanks for your input! Do you do this yourself too?
  18. Can you "quick-clean" your hybrid rubber with your breath and palms?

Is it okay to remove the dust from a hybird rubber with the help of the breath and palm during a game? Will it help retain the grip and/or tack or will it deteriorate it someway? Thanks!
