  1. New Butterfly Hadraw 5

Hadraw: FL: 100×25×34 mm ST: 100×23×28 mm Korbel: FL: 100×24×34 mm ST: 100×23×28 mm Primorac: FL: 100×25×34 mm The handle is bit square shaped, compared to my previous YSE. YSE was more comfortable but Hadraw is the better blade for my needs.
  2. Post your latest EJ purchase

After a month of waiting, I can finally overshoot the table with a new and even more expensive blade..
  3. Back/Side injury from forehand - Common or unlucky?

As someone who has enough experience with back issues, this seems to me like something I'm facing on a "regular" basis. Stuck nerve. Lots of pain with limited movements, going from the back all the way to the front of the body, sometimes even with feeling pain during breathing.
  4. What butterfly blade should i get?

And how do you like the hadraw 5?
  5. First setup for basement player

Hi guys, Only a quick update, we had that tournament at work where I went with a slightly faster blade with the MX-P's for the last two matches, which I both lost. First loss was against a better player, second was a loss where I was 1:0 in sets up and ended up losing 1:3 as I was not patient...
  6. Nittaku Acoustic inner carbon (Yasaka Razaka Rubber options)

Does it have to be Yasaka? I'd tke a look at the Fastarc G-1..
  7. Perform in multiball but not in game

Adding my grain of salt here. Recently I bought a robot and had some drills, pure FH, pure BH, short backspin serve followed by a long backspin "push" etc, mix of FH and BH to the side, middle, other side, middle, etc. Today we had a TT tournament at the company where I work at and it came down...
  8. which coach is right

Imho it depends on what kind of a level you play and what kind of a player you are. If you're playing in some low league, even a slow yet spinny loop can get you a straight point. In higher leauges against better players this could result in preparing the perfect ball for you oponent and then...
  9. First setup for basement player

Hi @UpSideDownCarl, I know you're right. Not only in terms of our minds being di*cks, but also on constantly changing the setups or not sticking to just one. Because in the meantime I was afraid that the MX-P is going to be bit too fast and not really suitable for that kind of low level league...
  10. First setup for basement player

Can confirm, guilty in all charges. That have been my case even back then when I was just pretending playing darts (having more than 50 different sets of darts at a time). Same goes with guitars (because I'm idiot I guess 🤷‍♂️). Unfortunately it is also the case now. I hear what all of you are...
  11. First setup for basement player

Ok, so besides Mark V or Mark V HPS, XIOM Vega Europe / Asia, any other recommendations that I could look at? Soft and spiny rubbers for close to the table to mid range game that are not Rakza 7 or Rakza 7 soft. If they're light, it's a bonus. Or vice versa...some rubbers that got my attention...
  12. First setup for basement player

If you could recommend something a tiny bit faster than Mark V, what would it be? 😇 Thank you, I'm open to any other brand tbh, does not necessairly has yo be yasaka only. That's why I'm asking you guys. The only thing I'm not keen on is boosting, so no chinese rubbers I'd guess.
  13. First setup for basement player

If you could recommend something a tiny bit faster than Mark V, what would it be? 😇
  14. First setup for basement player

Update: I've ordered a Hadraw 5 blade with a set of Tibhar MX-P's on max for both sides. As BTY has some delay in delivery, I still have some time to change the configuration (e.g. order the blade only and get the rubbers later). I have played the MX-P's and they are fine rubbers. With the...
  15. Thoughts on my blade

Korbel is one of the more heavy blades as it has a bigger blade size. If you put rubbers on it, it can have a weird feeling that the balance is off, more towards the head. Blades with Balsa cores are lighter.
  16. Thoughts on my blade

    Isn't Korbel more head heavy?
  17. Thoughts on my blade

All wood or carbon? If all wood, you can't go wrong with Primorac Made in Japan, Stiga Infinity VPS or slower one Yasaka Sweden Extra. Can't really recommend any carbon blades 🤷never played with any.
  18. First setup for basement player

Hi @Aizen, Thank you very much for taking your time and responding, much appreciated. After watching the recording I saw something similar with my FH as you mentioned. If I'm not mistaken, my FH drive is more like a forward motion. Instead it should be more like an upward move and twist in the...
  19. Thoughts on my blade

Why do you want to have a carbon blade in the first place? If you're a developing player, an all wood blade can give you more feedback compared to a carbon one. There are also 7 ply all wood blades if regular 5 ply are too slow for you.
  20. Rubber and Blade Reccomendation for Beginner-Intermediate Player

I'm also a beginner / lower internediate but can't really put a rating as I haven't been to any tournament yet. Basically just a basement player without coaching, who trains with a team that plays league matches. I'd stay away from any carbon blades, they don't give you enough feedback on your...
