FX-D plays great! Even though the sponge is medium-soft at about 45 degrees, it plays as an offensive threat. I created great spin on serves and counter loops were fantastic. It produced nice arc on counter topspins. This rubber is a keeper!
I tried a new sheet of Andro Rasanter C48. It is a tacky rubber with a nice arc. No problem keeping fh shots on the table. I will need to try it some more.
In the USA, Stiga Platinum is $69.95 per sheet. In my opinion, it is a decent rubber, but not at a price near Butterfly Tenergy. I have to believe that there are a dozen other rubbers that do the same thing as Platinum at a much lower price.
I tried the FX-D yesterday. One word...WOW!!! The Red Energy Sponge catapults the ball, with the softer sponge on the FX rubbers, there is more control. I will have to use it more, but I really like it.
I received a new sheet of Stiga Platinum S rubber. I glued it to my blade a few days ago. I used it for the first time today. Every fh went into the net. I made angle adjustments, but the ball went in all directions. I flipped the blade and used my bh Stiga Platinum S on the fh and shots went...
I have used Stiga DragonGrip. It is tacky, hard rubber. It is not fast at all. I used Tibhar K1. It is very tacky, maybe slightly softer than DragonGrip and just as slow. I am hoping that Donic BlueGrip S2 is much faster with a softer rubber sponge.
