  1. Is T05H or T05 closer to MX-P?

Just shows to show how personal it all is. For clarity, the only reason I didn't mention MX-S is because the OP only asked about T05H or T05 and MX-P (not MX-S). Personally, I still think MX-S feels just a little harder than T05H (which really isn't that much harder than T05 to be honest)...
  2. TB ALC vs ZLC

If you search for "ALC vs ZLC" you'll get a whole load of threads and comments. A lot will come down to your style. This is a good video review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BqpjWeHNYA
  3. Is T05H or T05 closer to MX-P?

Wow lol - Who do you class as the experts? All of those attributes can only be assigned through scientific tests. One person might think X is faster than Y, and the other person think differently. That type of comparison is virtually impossible to achieve due to the differences in how people...
  4. Is T05H or T05 closer to MX-P?

MX-S feels much harder than T05 Hard IMO (well, maybe not much, but it feels harder). They are all great rubbers though - No complaints at all.
  5. Is T05H or T05 closer to MX-P?

Erm..... I'm not sure what you are basing that on? In terms of durability as far as performance goes..... Tenergy wipes the floor with nearly all rubbers. MX-P is great to start off with, but the factory boost disappears quickly (a few weeks), and the rubbers drops off massively. Tenergy has...
  6. Is T05H or T05 closer to MX-P?

    Yes it is.
  7. Table Tennis England vs TT365 Thread

Yeah, I don't see that happening either. TTE will come out with some poor attempt at a league manager which will be shocking. Maybe by 2021 it might be OK.......
  8. Table Tennis England vs TT365 Thread

Yeah, that for me in the biggest shame. League management software isn't hard to come by, but the rating system took a lot of work and data - Something you can't replicate. The problem with outsourcing it is that you have zero control over price increases. 365 were creating such a monopoly...
  9. Table Tennis England vs TT365 Thread

OK, I’ll do a tl;dr version for interested parties who can’t be bothered to read everything. TT365 has been managing the TTE (Table Tennis England) membership and “back end services” for a few years now. TTE paid TT365 a fee for this….. On top of that, TT365 also created a “league manger”...
  10. Thoughts on coaching in-between points?

Sounds very similar to the UK set up. Also, for anyone wondering (and it would be good to see if this is universal), the age groups go...... Cadet (14-16) Junior (16-18) Senior (18-40) Veteran (40+) But in the local league, all ages will play each other. I definitely think the "active...
  11. Thoughts on coaching in-between points?

Tennis needs to unify their rules. You can coach on the WTA, but not at Grand Slams. No need to make it complicated - Either allow it or dont.
  12. Thoughts on coaching in-between points?

I guess there are so many ways people can interpret what I've said, it's very hard to explain it exactly like it was (along with the context). To add a bit more context to it. • I'm a much better player than my team mates (it sounds big headed, it's not supposed to be, but it's an attempt to...
  13. Thoughts on coaching in-between points?

Just over 2 years ago, the rules changed to allow "coaching" in between points. Now, I've watched a fair few pro matches, and it doesn't look like it's had a detrimental impact on the gameplay, speed or anything else. I was playing in a local league match last night (if you had to generalise...
  14. The Weakest Style

I don’t know why I keep on hearing of this “new style of play” with the 40+ balls, and more speed/hitting over spin/placement. Unless you are a professional, good controlled attacking spin will beat flat hitters all day long. Even if you are a professional, the spin orientated attackers (which...
  15. Zhang Jike Super ZLC Handle

Ah, OK. Well I find ZLC to be quite bouncy - Great for looping backspin, amazing away from the table and the TB ZLC will be much more similar to the ZJSZLC because of this. I find ALC a little more crisp, lower trajectory and better close to the table for the short game and counter looping. I...
  16. Zhang Jike Super ZLC Handle

If it's something you are going to be using a lot - Just buy a real one from an authorised shop. Unless you are an EJ who chops and changes equipment regularly, you'll likely have the blade you like for many years. It's just not worth risking a fake in that scenario.
  17. Zhang Jike Super ZLC Handle

Honestly..... Just get the ZJK ALC or T5000. If the handle is the most important thing, that is the way to go. 99.9% of people won't be able to utilise the ZJ SZLC (or even the other ones) to their potential, so the comfort of the blade is important.
  18. palio expert 2 upgrade

It depends on the blade. Some pre made bats allow you to take the rubbers off, some don't. The ones that do, are usually decent enough to continue with (I'd guess this is the Palio one here). 2 1/2 years of the same rubbers will also be pretty bad - Even getting newer rubbers that are the...
  19. palio expert 2 upgrade

Hi PDH, I'd definitely consult his coach (assuming he has one). People generally think it's the right thing to do by getting new bats/rubbers etc - But there are some top top juniors who still use the likes of the Palio as it's perfectly adequate. Has he been having lessons?
