  1. New Stiga Mantra Pro

After another month there are more signs of wear on my Mantra Pros, especially on my red (M) side which I used more. But the grip is still pretty much as new. I have intentionally tried M and XH in severely cold conditions aka 15-16deg inside the hall. They are still pretty bouncy even in these...
  2. Anyone tried the new Stiga Mantra Sound?

I haven't tried this new Mantra Sound rubber but to me it looks like the old red Mantra sponge with possibly the new Mantra Pro topsheet. It could be OK, it could be just a cheap grab to mix the two. The new Mantra Pro topsheet is great and the old Mantra sponge is not bad at all. But I would...
  3. The blade off Wang Manyu ??

I got mine actually on Friday. I bought it before my girlfriend bought me a Cybershape Truls edition as a Xmas gift so it's a funny coincidence. Actually, I'm not a huge Stiga blade fan if I have to be honest. The only good "modern" blade I tried and played with from Stiga was a Carbonado 290. I...
  4. PSA: Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon and Andro Syntheliac VCO OFF seem like close siblings but are not

Looks pretty same to me. You probably should have gotten the normal Inspira (or DHS H301T tho this is not Stiga) instead if you want something that is like the Cybershape without the hexagon shape. These are like Viscarias.
  5. Advice for changing my forehand rubber

I think it's rather good. I have some marks on my red sheet from my finger and some oxidation just like how H3 oxidizes over time, but the grip is the same so I'm not bothered. It's not like the new ESN rubbers where once the top coat wears off it's unusable. In fact my teammate who uses T05...
  6. Advice for changing my forehand rubber

I suppose Fastarc G-1 would be the no brainier advice for a bit slower and high throw rubber. It's also very durable unlike AGR and many other German rubbers.
  7. Post your latest EJ purchase

Not my purchase but my GF ordered me the Cybershape CWT Truls edition with Mantra Pro XH and Pro M. Awwwww...
  8. Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon

Oh wow, this doesn't have the handmade in Sweden badge at the end of the handle. That's a bit crazy that Stiga outsources blade production. So this blade is probably very close if not the same as Andro Synteliac VCO.
  9. Contact point on ball

    That's a pretty good guess 😂
  10. Contact point on ball

I must be a night owl since I hit the ball from 9-11 o'clock.

Hope you don't smoke, and I have no recent knowledge on tobacco pricing but LAC is much cheaper than before. I wager you can't buy more than 2-3 packs of fags for a LAC and I also wager LAC still lasts longer. Just buy LAC non stop, you will be the healthiest smoker.

I boosted it with a very light fart of FTL before. It had a great effect. And a bubble not so much later.
  13. How to remove the glue from the rubber's sponge?

I tried Sueke No 2, it is fantastic. I don't know what is the difference between No1 and No2 but I like the Sueke No2 more than DHS no15 and I really love DHS No15.
  14. DHS fans unite!

It will not disappear in a few days especially if you don't remove the glue from the sponge. If you remove the glue the booster will evaporate faster. With Big Dipper I noticed before that I removed it from a blade, removed the factory glue and immediately put it back on another blade and the...
  15. DHS fans unite!

@latej I am now trying a Dianchi D and as far as I can remember the Double Fish Polestar P smelled the same looked the same. I think they are the same rubber with different logos on them. But my point about being very similar to H3N OS is still valid. Out of the pack the Polestar P and the...

There's a saying around here: 1 beer = no beer 2 beers = half beer 4 beers = one beer one beer = no beer You can apply this to H3.
  17. How to remove the glue from the rubber's sponge?

This one I have not seen yet, but the tube is different from the German made glues like Andro Turbo Fix so it might be something else. (and better) If you open the bottle give it a sniff, if it smells like ammonia and almost hurts you to sniff it, then it's probably a good glue, similar to...

I don't know about LAC as I killed my first one in about 2 weeks so... Compared to most Chinese rubbers LAC is pretty fast. I doubt LAC will become dead as a H3 or something normal. BD is also probably a bit better in this regards, but BD is not that sticky anyway. There's always tradeoff...
  19. Which Hurricane 3 version?

In black color is H3N OS provincial matte like H3 BS prov or shiny like commercial OS? I used national 37 in red so I have no relevant info.

Not sure by unboosted you mean totally unboosted or factory boosted is OK. If factory boosted is OK then probably LAC (if they fixed the durability, and I think the 40 deg ones I have now are factory boosted at least they seem to curl and smell sweet). If they didn't fix the durability then...
