  1. Can a commercial H3 Neo come close to a H3 blue sponge?

I used 2 for BS, it made a pretty large curve. On OS I used 2 initially, it felt not enough so after ~2 weeks I gave it 2 more. I don't dare boost BS more since I don't want the sponge to break soon. Everything can be used without booster. Not sure if it's worth it tho. DHS puts some stuff on...
  2. Can a commercial H3 Neo come close to a H3 blue sponge?

I just have a commercial OS and a prov BS (both 40deg) on similar blades, the BS on ZQ S-ALC 90 and the commercial H3N on the ALC side of an Ice Cream. Both are boosted and honestly the difference exists but not that much. I have more hours in the commercial OS H3 so the sponge is broken in well...
  3. H3 blue sponge vs H3 neo blue sponge

The only differences are the factory boost, the glue layer and the packaging. The topsheet and sponge are the same.
  4. Moon 12 Blue on sale!

I tried the H- one and it's really only okay for blocking and punching and just some controlled play. But for that it's indeed great. It's fast enough, the sponge is not too hard but the topsheet is kinda hard, so if you don't hit the ball porperly it has almost no grip. And even if you get to...
  5. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Mine has almost no smell at all. It was of course vacuum packed. You can't stand next to H3 for a while it's so yucky but this one barely any smell. The label on the package said 1H-3T if that means anything. And I think the topsheet already has one pip detached.

I glued the Rxton 9 on my racket. It has the factory glue, and it's done very well so no complaints there but it has no smell. It doesn't have any yucky smell. And just doing bounce tests it doesn't feel boosted. Also it seems rather slow. Will it break in to be faster? I haven't actually played...
  7. New Stiga Mantra Pro

Yeah even I sometimes think the M is a bit soft, but then again it's just fun to use. Maybe H isn't a bad idea for BH. Honestly just trying to remember every rubber it reminds me a lot of FTL boosted Fastarc G-1. The bounce, the spin, the transparent nature, the hardness. Maybe Mantra Pro M...
  8. Why can't they remove the dust from new balls?

Awwww, yeah I feel you totally. Changing the ball makes a huge difference. I wonder tho why everyone is using it. I suppose it's not a bad idea if most teams use the same ball, like for us it's the Flash, but why pick the shittiest ball... Unless there are many pip users, for them this must be a...
  9. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Oh, I missed it until now, but I just watched it. Have to say you sure developed a smexy voice🤡 I guess we had the same impression about the origin of the rubber. Well maybe Loki makes it, but I'm sure they look over the Yangtze with good binoculars and check how they do it at DHS.
  10. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

The blue sponge colors look soooooo similar that from the packaging I can't make a difference. Also the packaging plastic is so similar too. Conspiracy theory: DHS makes it? Aparently Loki is registered in Yangzhou city which is like literally next to Shanghai. Also that dragon with the huge...
  11. Why can't they remove the dust from new balls?

I have some old Joola Flash balls that almost have the blue Joola logo worn off. Barely visible. It's shiny and smooth AF. I used to have so many issues with lost grip on such shiny balls with Rozena and Tenergy too before, but recently the newly developed rubbers seem to deal with these used...
  12. New Stiga Mantra Pro

The Pro M is 49g cut, the XH is 52-3g cut. It's not terribly heavy, not BTY light either. Top sheet is fantastic, the old Mantras did oxidize for me too but this new one is superb. Mor supple for sure, more spin, more durable. Speed wise I'm not sure probably similar the old Mantra wasn't slow...
  13. New Stiga Mantra Pro

Actually I have swapped the Mantra Pro XH on my Zhou Qihao S-ALC blade with a H3N OS but have not touched my Mantra Pro M on BH side just for a test a few weeks ago. That test was so good that since I have not even touched another blade. I played a lot against SP, LP and of course normal...
  14. Suggestion for slight BH rubber upgrade

I guess G-1 in 2.0mm would be a logical choice. But there's also Rhyzen CMD, Vega Europe, or for even more advanced Victas V>11 extra, maybe even Vega Pro or X. If you use one rubber for more than 2 months maybe skip the German made ones since they change properties quite a bit after a month or...
  15. New DHS “A” fibre in DHS 506a or PG6a blades. Any info about it?

There really is not much info about any of them. Usually DHS uses their "aromatic-carbon" (aramid-carbon?) thing for their blades, this 506A might be the so called arylate carbon which is basically vectran carbon's fancy name. For DHS arylate would be a "new" material. I also have some doubt...

I also have a H- Moon Blue laying around which I ordered when it got heavily discounted. I will try it out sometime. Probably my ordered Rxton 9 will arrive today too, so I will glue these on my Yinhe D715 "Golden Viscaria clone" blade. The H- feels significantly harder than a 47deg ESN or Jap...
  17. DHS fans unite!

I haven't tried Rxton5. I quite like these fun off-brands but not sure why I should buy it over H3N. Yeah, these are just cold hard facts. I am not thinking of just buying a H3N OS provincial since to be totally honest it's not expensive. I will say shipped and taxed EU prices but commercial H3...
  18. DHS fans unite!

Lately, I've been experimenting with just H3N OS @ 40 degrees and I feel like dayumn. So if anyone has been reading my rants knows that I am not a huge fan of the orange sponge H3N, but I am real sucker for the blue sponge. Well, that might just be changing... Before I had a 40 deg "dead" H3N...
  19. Rakza Z and Rakza Z Extra Hard vs Golden Tango PS and Golden Tango

I haven't tried GT only GT PS, but I wager GT PS is about the same as Rakza Z and Rakza Z EH is quite harder and heavier than the PS. GT looks like the same thing as Tibhar K2 and possibly the Codexx 54 with the dense sponge. Anyway Rakza Z has a cake sponge while GT has a fully dense sponge...
  20. DHS fans unite!

I tried the Polestar P on a guy's racket, I just forgot to tell. It's pretty much like a very nicely boosted H3N OS. Maybe even prov or national grade too. I guess the price is around provincial H3N OS so maybe it's a good bet since no one will fake DF rubbers. I really can't say much more about...
