  1. "wrapping" the ball.

Just some theoratical questions But if the contact time is too short the rubber and the sponge won't have time to snap back which might be even a worse-case scenario.
  2. Is EJing good for improving?

Maybe EJing is not particularly beneficial but trying other stuff can be. Even for pips or anti players it could beneficial to try inverted rubbers and faster setups so they can find or explore what their opponents shortcomings might be with such gear. Same goes for inverted players trying...

Okay, so let's get this straight from my view. I like Jupiter 3, I also think it's very fast. But both J3 and H3 feel totally differently than K3 in actual play. Let's not kid ourselves, for the price of J3, 15 USD, or LAC for ~22-23USD they perform crazy good. I would say that the LAC reaches...

I never tried dragon grip since stiga asks way too much for their rubbers, but to me it looks like a Donic C2. While K3 is kinda like a bit sticky "tensor" rubber the C2 is more like a bit sticky "half-tensor" rubber, it has some bounce but not like the K3. C2 reminds me more of a Chinese rubber.

It was a joke. I chose the two most expensive rubbers on purpose. But if I was him on my 3rd rubber... something among these thoughts would cross my mind. Chinese manufacturers do this a lot. They change the printing. I had a Hovering Dragon and they had printed text on the sponge but mine had...

The problem is one buys 3 sheets in 2 weeks and now you are in the territory that "should I have bought a sheet of K3 or D09c"?

I got mine from the official Loki store and it is in 41 deg hardness.

Awww crap, I bought it recently too. Feels like I am sitting on a timebomb. It's not an expensive rubber but changing it once or twice a week sounds silly. I wonder how long mine will last.
  9. DHS fans unite!

I think its pricing is very aggressive against their own products, Tenergy and Dignics, and very aggressive against their ESN competitors.
  10. Should I buy DHS Long 5

You can just cut your losses and get a DHS Fang Bo 2 carbon blade which is the same composition as HL5 for less than half price. If you buy it on Aliexpress you can just send a message to the shop that you want an XX gramm heavy blade and usually, they try to satisfy the customer's request. If...
  11. DHS fans unite!

Dunno if they changed the mix for Revo but it saddens me to no end. From H8-80 and from other Chinese sponges sometimes the glue layers stays on the wood instead of coming off with the sponge. I think the DHS Viscaria clones have an advantage in head shape over Yinhe and even BTY, since they...

Oh no, sounds like an own goal. But I'm fairly certain I never said that it is OK to use without boosting. I really hope this statement won't age like spoilt milk. The best kind of virgin, that you are able to PAY for.
  13. Is there a very spinny rubber with good control?

    H 3-50 and Skyline 3-60, Glayzer 09c.

Dingtian absolute fracking needs boosting. Without it it's like blue H3 non-Neo. It's deader than a Texas salad bar. Dunno who told you it doesn't need boosting but you need to send them a ticking letter. I got mine from the "Loki Official Store". I am genuinely F curious who the hell makes...

They are different. Dingtian needs boosting, but it's very easy to boost. 2 layers of FTL on the sponge directly and you are set. From Dingtian you can choose hardness while with LAC you are in the mercy of the shop. Maybe one can send a message to them what you want but since the package has no...

Battle 2 is more direct, it doesn't arc the ball as much by default. It has a more uncomfortable arc for the opponent. LAC is pretty good actually, I think it did need a good workover to break in just a bit but it did it fairly quickly. It's not like some rubbers where you need to put in many...

Similar actually, I just hit with it for my warm up and the LAC topsheet is softer than B2, and the sponge is a bit bouncier. Not sure if it needs any break in, I feel like it does.
  18. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Trust me I didn't choose either. The package and the store didn't list any hardness choices so I just bought a sheet of black and this is what I got.

Just by pinching it doesn't feel hard as DHS for sure. It has pores so no wonder. BTW I really don't like how the site rejects pics based on the size. Can't it just do a rescale on the fly...? I really don't want to use my macro camera just for taking pics. Macro cameras are garbage. Just by...
