  1. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Hi @dingyibvs , you are relatively young and you see this with you... I am approaching 60 with 30 yrs military wear and tear on joints and body and i feel it too. It isn't an excuse, it is reality and how body and mind works. One can only go so far on endorphins and adrenaline. You can ask...
  2. My FIRST Day competing in Germany

By now, you figured out that my brand of trouble making is simply getting people to enjoy themselves in TT and meet each other.
  3. My FIRST Day competing in Germany

Nah, it is simply that TT is a small world. if you are an Ausländer in Korea and speak Korean, you get to meet a lot of people. I am only just the Chief Counsel to the Office of Goon Squad, it allows me to cause trouble around my nation and the world. Everyone should give it a try.
  4. My FIRST Day competing in Germany

BTW, Suh Hyo Young (SHW's sister) is still young (she is prolly around 30 or so) and still not yet married. Take a 6 month stay in Korea, enjoy the TT and you might get lucky. She coached in a club in Seoul 9where a couple of my friends lived 5 floors above the club) and I speak Korean, so I...
  5. My FIRST Day competing in Germany

Here is the interview. At 11:00, SHY (SHW sister) takes out a bag from a side compartment and it is full of stuff JYS dissolves in water and drinks... vitamins and magnesium.

Yes, if you slow down and not try to do everything too rushed, you can really play surprisingly strong on many shots.
  7. My FIRST Day competing in Germany

A famous youtuber Korean lady (the sister of chopper Suh Hyo Won) (i know you hate good looking chopper ladies)... she had an interview with Jung Young Sik... and went through his TT gym bag and asked him what he had and why... he had magnesium power for cramp prevention and treatment among a...
  8. My FIRST Day competing in Germany

Good hydration and maintaining balance of electrolytes and minerals is a good way to prevent cramps. Magnesium is especially helpful in prevention and treatment of cramps. I try to stage my intake of a little magnesium throughout match day. maybe night prior, always after match recovery too.
  9. My FIRST Day competing in Germany

Hi Diego, In sport, when we exert our bodies throughout the long match day (and the days before it) we tend to drink a lot of water... this is nice, but it flushes out electrolytes and minerals that our body needs for our cells and muscles to function. It is as simple as eating a tiny bit...
  10. My FIRST Day competing in Germany

Hi @DiegOX , I forgot to tell you today. There is an old military base closed down and the city runs its old former gym, some of us contributed money for TT tables and we store them there and play there sometimes when Russian Church TT is not happening... Some of us were there today and...
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

If those younger players consistently lose to fat old LP players with only one step footwork on their good days, then let those young players cry a river and complain about it on youtube and internet table tennis forums until such a time that they actually train, adapt, and overcome..
  12. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Yes, the slower, larger and newer gen of ABS ball makes it real damn easy to do a lot of things related to attacking under or top spin... so we see much more BH flipping strong, much more countering of that flip, and more countering of that counter... this newer ball makes it easier to do that...
  13. Does rakza 7-generation is outdated ?

I use what is by modern stanadrs somewhat slow equipment.... and still play hard and fast and spinny AF with that stuff with a total price less than a single sheet of diginiski. OFF- Wood blade OLD-AZZ ESN rubber, prolly 5 gens old in both mid firm and soft sponge WITHOUT tuning. You can ask...
  14. How do you boost your Hurricane 3 Neo?

Does it matter? Can anyone tune it like Sergey the Tsos? Everyone should ask him. #Sign-up Sergey
  15. Does rakza 7-generation is outdated ?

Hi @longle , At the top elite amateur levels and the pro levels, the ABS ball construction and larger size have made it to where at those levels, you need to blast and counter blast progressively closer and closer to table. This ball makes it incredibly easier to make spin vs underspin...
  16. My FIRST Day competing in Germany

Uhm, complain about long pips players ?? No, I have been around long enough everywhere and on OOAK and everyone knows I fight for defensive play styles too. I try to do the right things a few weeks out for a major tourney goal. The less important tourneys, I just try to sync rest, hydration...
  17. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I would argue that time invested on a repeatable compact stroke at the table is way worth more than going slow all the time or afraid to hit hard. I think @dingyibvs will develop into one of those adult players who can play fast repeatedly in rallies with spin and not be afraid. I really...

I need to introduce you to my friend Ali who i help out... he now has 4-6 of the 968 and is very happy with them. It is hiz funds and anyone can use their funds for any lawful and moral purpose without any harassment from Der_Echte. Actually, if you get his age and have a good occupation...
  19. Does rakza 7-generation is outdated ?

YES. I also play with and recommend control oriented offensive rubbers... which by modern standards (say compared to latest gen esn or diginiskis) are called allround rubbers. The rubber I use, Tibhar Aurus has been around forever and does everything well, but not world beater in a single area...
  20. My FIRST Day competing in Germany
