I think it comes down to how you look at the ranking system. Does it: 1. Show the true ranking of players "ability" worldwide? 2. Show the current "form" of players worldwide? If Federer stops playing for 2 years, his "form" is likely to be very poor, and therefore he'll be "ranked"...

Hi Medax, Does your league use TT365? If you PM me your stats, I'll have a look at the standard you play and try and recommend accordingly. From what you've said, I'd stick with an all wood blade - When you can comfortably block and loop with an all wood blade, you'd be fine to go to a carbon one.

As others have said - If you were attempting to keep the ball "fairly" low, and simply put it under the bat - You succeeded - Well done. However, if you served like that in a match, you'd get punished. Try doing it with backspin, and that will be a weapon in a real match.
