No worries. Nittaku fine zip. For hurricane 3 neo I put two layers of glue, sometimes three layers. because there are pre made layer on the sponge already. On blade, I put one or two layers of glue. Quite thin layers of glue I would say.

All the current Chinese players have been playing with Hurricane neo version for a long time. Do you when ITTF banned the speed glue? All the hurricane with white packaging are only designed for the speed glue.

I have seen the non neo version hurricane has 2.2 mm thickness sponge before (if I remember right) , which is designed for the speed glue.

They all use 2.1 mm thickness sponge

If you are going to boost the rubber, then 2.1 mm thickness will be the best. Interestingly, I have never seen hurricane 3 neo provincial blue sponge 2.2 mm thickness. Any photos?
