  1. Clipper CC

Review by 'Shuki' on item 'Clipper CC'

I used this blade for about 6 months paired with a few different rubbers. This blade only has one gear, and that gear is fast. It's extremely difficult to get this blade to go slower for you. It's got 7 plies with glass carbon in between each layer which is really overkill. The blade does...
  2. Ttnpp vs prott

although i don't believe i've ever recieved a real product from ttnpp, the nittaku finezip i got there was the best glue i've ever had. it ended up being more of a latex type glue and it was the first time i bought finezip. the times after that i had purchased the same glue but from other...
  3. How did you decide Chinese versus Tensor rubber on FH?

i like the harmony with that sound. my coach occasionally has music playing and she counts the the music out loud and we keep the hits going with the music. very easy to keep our timing
  4. Which blade is the absolute ultimate for both looping and touch play?

zhang jike super zlc, tenergy 64 on both sides
  5. How did you decide Chinese versus Tensor rubber on FH?

that's interesting, one of my playing partners/teachers is about 2100, and used to be top 20 in the US in the 70's. still never left and all wood paddle and puts more spin on the ball than any higher rated player that I've played against. I figure if he (almost 60 years old now) is still able to...
  6. How did you decide Chinese versus Tensor rubber on FH?

it was partly a joke. the real reason ill never move to a fast blade is because my favorite part of the game is honestly feeling the ball on a good shot. when i use a fast blade that feeling goes numb and i cant feel it anymore. it ruins the fun of the game for me

sorry the bluefire i was comparing it to was m3. depending on how well you take care of the rubber. i change rubber every couple months. but most people are closer to 6 months
  8. Innerforce ZLC

5 out of 5 rating for Innerforce ZLC Unfortunately this blade is discontinued and now they only have the innerforce LAYER zlc. The zlc layer is closer to the middle of the paddle and on the outside there are two limba plies. this causes the blade to have a very strong all wood feeling and a...
  9. How did you decide Chinese versus Tensor rubber on FH?

shucks, good thing i don't want to move to a fast blade because with this rule ill never be able to ^^
  10. Ttnpp vs prott

  11. Innerforce ZLC

Review by 'Shuki' on item 'Innerforce ZLC'

Unfortunately this blade is discontinued and now they only have the innerforce LAYER zlc. The zlc layer is closer to the middle of the paddle and on the outside there are two limba plies. this causes the blade to have a very strong all wood feeling and a ton of dwell and flexibility on loops.

mx-p or el-p are both equal to tenergy in terms of spin and speed. mx-p feels a bit harder and faster while el-p feels a bit softer and slower. spin is equal on them. here's the thing. just because other rubbers may have similar spin and speed, hardness/softness etc. doesn't mean they will play...
  13. Blade Advise needed

sorry, i saw you say price isn't an issue so i was just saying to stick with it. if you're looking for something 30$ cheaper and you want an addidas product p7 is closer to the tenergy. i personally didn't like tenzone. it reacted normally with the ball but it just had a strange feeling...
  14. How did you decide Chinese versus Tensor rubber on FH?

It seems you guys like limba more than a koto because of how soft/flexible limba is. why not white ash as a bit more soft and flexible than even limba?

what is it about T05 that your coach doesnt like? i find it strange that he suggests a rubber that you wont be able to keep buying in the future
  16. Coach's Eye app, not just for coaches

explain the app a little more? im curious
  17. STIGA Carbonado 145 Blade Winner 2015!

    congratulations anders!
  18. Cheap beginner defensive setup

I disagree, players can know what style they want to go for from the start after seeing different players styles. what they want will most certainly change once they start to get better but i know a few players who decided they wanted to be defensive from the start and stuck to it becoming...
  19. Slowing down your play

This. And i find it fascinating that when you're lower level you think you're good or capable of being good. For me the better and better I get the more flaws I find in my game. Even when doing drills or hitting FANTASTIC shots i find myself thinking "oh but if i did this it would have been even...
  20. Blade Advise needed

keep in mind that if you like the tenzone you may not be able to buy more of it since addidas has pulled out of table tennis. and all that's left of addidas products is just stock.
