  1. Advice on Shakehand Blade

I've tested Senso Carbon and it's too slow for me. I was looking for a faster blade, because my current one is made from Kevlar Carbon (OFF+) H3 Neo for forehand is awesome, for backhand I'm using Evolution EL-P, which is great as well. My coach told me that Sriver is a bit outdated because of...
  2. Advice on Shakehand Blade

Hi, I started playing table tennis 4 months ago with chinese penhold, and I have learned the basic and intermediate skills (drive, topspin, push, decent footwork etc). However, I'm seeing that playing shakehand is a lot easier and more effective. So I'm thinking about buying a shakehand blade...
  3. Long Pimples on Reverse Penhold Backhand?

The flicks will be the same, exept they won't have spin anymore. The forehand looping will be the same. The backhand looping will dissapear, I think that will be main problem. The general play style will be something similar to Ryu Seung Min (Olimpic Champion 2004) but insted of blocking with...
  4. Long Pimples on Reverse Penhold Backhand?

I was thinking about it again and I think that penholders playing this style have a little advantage, because with shakehand you only can chop or block with the LP backhand. With penhold you can use the traditional backhand attack as well. BTW: Which is the best LP rubber for this style? Thanks :)
  5. Long Pimples on Reverse Penhold Backhand?

So, I'm playing table tennis with a penhold grip (reverse backhand) Wang Hao's style, with both inverted rubbers. Today a guy in my club told me to use Long Pimples on backhand, ''nobody expects that and you can easily win because your opponents won't know how to react'' he said. At first I...
  6. Win a signed STIGA Carbonado 145 blade!

I think Xu Xin will win the Swedish Open.
  7. Boosting DHS H3 Neo with Bio Booster TRF

Is the booster toxic? I mean, should I go outside or I can boost it in my house? Is there a big difference between Falco Tempo Booster and TRF Bio Booster? Which glue is the best for boosting? Thanks :)
  8. Boosting DHS H3 Neo with Bio Booster TRF

Hi, I will boost my DHS Hurricane 3 Neo commercial with the TRF Bio Booster. I saw this 2 videos about boosting: Should I apply a layer of glue before applying the booster like on the first video of apply the booster first like in the second video? Thanks :)
  9. Why is Japanese Penhold less popular these days?

That's very interesting, I play RPB but with a Chinese penhold blade. What's the point of playing RPB with a Japanese penhold blade? I thought Jpen blades were designed for 1 side penhold players :)
  10. Top 10 annoying situations every table tennis player has encountered!

Here is another one: 12) The coach that says that you can't play table tennis but you can easily win him topspin vs topspin... Has this happened to anybody else? xD
  11. Changing from shakehand to penhold(blade change)

Which blade is Xu Xin using right now?
  12. My teammates are jealous because I'm learning faster than them

I'm sure. When I wasn't good enough to win the veteran players we were training fast drives and topspins. Now, We are just training slow drives and chops (I'm a penholder, not a long pips player). Thanks for the advice
  13. My teammates are jealous because I'm learning faster than them

I started table tennis 3 months ago in a club. I'm training a lot and I am already better than some of my teammates that are playing 3 years. They are being rude only because I'm better. And my ''coach'' is starting to slow down my training because he don't want me to win his veteran players...
  14. Why is Japanese Penhold less popular these days?

I play the violin and my fingers are long too :) Go to minute 29:20 In China they call it the shallow penhold grip. It works perfect for me. It is very similar to Wang Hao's grip too.
  15. How did you decide Chinese versus Tensor rubber on FH?

I think it depends on your playstyle: -If you have a chinese looping style: Chinese rubber like DHS H3 Neo -If you have an european looping style: Tensor rubber like Tenergy 05
  16. Stratus Samsonov CB

5 out of 5 rating for Stratus Samsonov CB A great 7 plies composite blade made from Balsa and Carbon. Is very fast, has a good control, medium to high hardness and nice durability. It weights around 85g and the handle is really confortable. The only thing I don't like about it is it's small...
  17. Evolution EL-P

5 out of 5 rating for Evolution EL-P I'm using this rubber on my (penhold) reverse backhand. The spin is great, I can generate a lot of top-sidespin with a decent speed and a lot of control during blocking. The sponge has a medium hardness which fits in between the harder MX-P and the softer...
  18. Hurricane 3 NEO

4 out of 5 rating for Hurricane 3 NEO This rubber is great. It's a chinese rubber, which means that is suited players that use the full arm swing doing forehand topspin. Awesome spin. The control is good but can be better. The speed of the rubber isn't very high, but boosting it is always an...
  19. Win a signed t-shirt by Ma Long and Fan Zhendong!

I think Fan Zhendong will win the Men's cup :)
  20. Stratus Samsonov CB

Review by 'ProPetrov' on item 'Stratus Samsonov CB'

A great 7 plies composite blade made from Balsa and Carbon. Is very fast, has a good control, medium to high hardness and nice durability. It weights around 85g and the handle is really confortable. The only thing I don't like about it is it's small sweet spot. Overall I would recommend this blade.
