  1. Does anybody else mentally fall apart against pure pushers or weird styles?

If it was me I’ll still try to loop the push that comes back and see how it goes - if it in the net - open and brush more - if it out of the table just more forward motion added. Just will try to adapt and make an correction of the stroke with every loop that you made. Rather than going in...
  2. Does anybody else mentally fall apart against pure pushers or weird styles?

Oleksii Naplyokov he is playing short pips now - before that he used something like T05fx with thin sponge Here is the game
  3. Does anybody else mentally fall apart against pure pushers or weird styles?

Look there always be an exception from the rules in tt. I know a guys that can doing push/chops with t05 that is so heavy almsot like from long pips (it’s a guys with gazillion years of exp and amazing touch) - and I can trouble to lift them and need some time to adapt. Can happen to anyone if...
  4. Does anybody else mentally fall apart against pure pushers or weird styles?

I saw he told in some thread that he about 1950+ so I’m used to believe 😌
  5. Does anybody else mentally fall apart against pure pushers or weird styles?

It’s all looks kinda weird. If you are 2000 player - there is no problem for you to lift any amount of under spin both backhand/forehand. It’s actually would be your bread and butter. Maybe another 3-4-5-6 layers of booster needed idk really 🫡
  6. What drills to do to reach solid 1500 USATT?

It’s style dependent also. If pips suits you - or you are interested in them - why not to try. I really don’t understand when I’m suggested one of my friends to use some sort of pips (his mostly pushing and blocking close to the table) as a solution for his desire to win more matches with...
  7. Fake FZD Super ALC

It has a different colored box too. Original looks like this
  8. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I don’t really have much troubles in serve/receive when playing against about my level players. I just try to attack everything that goes long and it works - most of the time it is backhand serve or pendulum underspin/no spin/slight sidespin. But when I play against coach that has gazillion...
  9. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Rating is always kinda subjective and wood be fluctuate in different environment lol It is logical about different rating in different technical aspects - we all amateurs smashing more forehands than doing serve receives - because it is more fun 😁 and then all serve/receive game building on...
  10. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Mostly holding it in my racket case. Im using it time to time - but all i find for now - D09c or a new K3 is better suited to me. But again - im enjoying the process of testing it
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Interesting concept about how backhand should be treated. Yeah - forehand give us much more room to breathe and time also. Bigger range of motion. I need to work on my backhand too - for it became more powerful and consistent of a tool. Btw what is your current rating in usatt?
  12. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Some of my yesterday training matches highlights Today was working on dealing with pips - exercises and matches, plus some inverted exercises/matches. Fifty/fifty i would say. My H3 is in the box mostly - rarely using it just for fun and pure interest how it behave in comp to D09c/K3
  13. Dignics 80 vs Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial

So all again - it’s all matter of technique and preferences. I wouldn’t say I have good touch ( but I play tt not so much as it should be played to develop it), but I have a lot of raw power from decades of other sports. So yes, I like harder rubber more - but I was absolutely comfortable in...
  14. Dignics 80 vs Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial

Yeah, agreed, d64 is very reliable too - like there is a pro players are using it so - no doubt it can be used also on a highest level. Its just better suited for flat fast hits and fast but not so spiny loops kinda style. But i know a players that play really descent with it on both sides. What...
  15. XIOM C55 Impressions and Comparison with H3N

Cool that it does it work well for you after such an hours. I have changed my k3 after about 40-43 hours and two tourneys. But mine is regular not the pro one 🙄
  16. Dignics 80 vs Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial

“The high-end spin is not there, though, and you won't be able to produce the same kind of deadly power-loops that you would with T05H or H3” High end spin is actually there, as I told already it’s a high end rubber. One of the best - fast and spiny open up backhands and loops I received from...
  17. Dignics 80 vs Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial

Actually d80 had really a lot of spin - not as much as d05/d09c but those are small differences and on amateur circle won’t matter that much. It’s absolutely possible to do power loops with it - I did it a hundreds of times. And the extra speed of this rubber helps in this department. Does...
  18. XIOM C55 Impressions and Comparison with H3N

Okay okay I’m ordering too 🥱
  19. Tibhar Hybrid MK alternatives

No, V20 it’s not like a classic hybrid (sticky top sheet/esn sponge) it does not have tackiness so actually it’s not a hybrid - more like a japan esn rubbers that are having linear behaviour in comparison with T05 kinda rubbers. But MK does not have sticky top sheet too and closer to Japan made...
  20. Clean ball opponent vs Junky opponent

That’s why you need to play not only with one or two players but rather with all the styles and as much as you can. I guess a lot of us had a friend like yours. I have a friend that had the same style pushing passive all day long almost no topspin’s - only rarely occasionally flat hits on...
