Mercury 2 has less gears, it's 'safe' and it's easier to use, feels softer and bouncier in the hand at low speeds, good for developing/beginners, but less good when you need action haha Also, mercury 2 is unbeatable for the price.

@joshmak10 purely curious, what is the rebound decay % on your blade? :) I have one now with 72% and another one coming that should be around 65% :D

I use the WCQ blade often and it's a fast one with a lot of rebound at high impact, so combining this with bouncy tenergies, in my opinion, bad idea. The blade is made for dhs rubbers :)

In my humble opinion, having a fast car like a Timo Boll ALC (it's like a viscaria) with such slow tires as Razka 7 to overcompensate for the speed/control, doesn't make too much sense, I'd go for a blade like yasaka sweden extra (if you like yasaka, there are many others) and focus on...

I just saw the static vids, could not see the instagram video but the overall stroke mechanics looked good, as @K.K says, it's match gameplay that matters more at the high level where all players can do the strokes good on static but in any case, I'd say you can handle 2.1 all good.
