  1. What do you do to keep your hand relaxed?

Cant see the video but the best tip I can have for you to relax the hand and body, is to only focus on your legs and fingers when playing, nothing else. If you lead with the arm, everything else tenses :) If I see the video I can tell you what I can see!
  2. Natural progression from accoustic

Yes it is a pitty that nittaku doesn't have a Long3 indeed :) I feel like nittaku with their thin handles like DHS but much better QA/QC than DHS, would make for a banger soft flexy 7 ply limba ayous like Long3
  3. Beating the plateau at low intermediate level

@Tyce , interesting story thanks for sharing! We still have that meeting together coming up soon no? I'm more than happy to check what's going on and help you. My gut feeling says technique is going yo have more impact here than gear, specially to help you play relax and loose, which is the main...
  4. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

That makes sense actually, maybe in the future there will be enough production lines for it and they will make them available for the wider public, I would buy them for sure! :D
  5. Natural progression from accoustic

The normal progression is a 7 ply wood blade with limba as a top, but many people go to a 5+2 inner carbon blade, there are plenty with limba tops. To answer this Q we would need a loooong amount of blades to discuss, so the tl;dr is that it depends per player, budget, feeeling, taste, handle...
  6. Recommendation for FH and BH rubbers

This could work out if the OP likes tensors and R7 indeed, which is why @DBsystem78 Q is important. From the normal tensors perspective, this is also one of the candidates I'd say. Otherwise you can go into hybrids but im not sure if the OP likes sticky rubbers :) And keep the hadraw, it has...
  7. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

Should be fine to order via prott, I will have a good look thanks! I wonder why DHS dont advertise them like the normal prov-nat of the other models :)
  8. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

Oh nice thanks man! I have tried to look for them for testing and they were nowhere to be found, any trustworthy shop to buy them that you know of? I ll try for sure!
  9. SOLD

@sebi an isolated number of the bounce of the blade, it's one of the most confusing numbers on DHS blades but I asked DHS themselves and they made it clear: the higher, the less energy the ball loses, hence the faster the ball comes out again and thus the faster the blade :)
  10. Handle Material

Thank you @SDC , I learnt something new and also enjoyed your post very much, one day we should do something together as we both enjoy writing on nerdy gear stuff ;)
  11. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

No not really, it shares the same philosophy as the 8-80 in that they are both hybrids, but from the one time I tested (it was the green coincidentally) it is softer and easier to activate, it felt DHS had tried to achieve 2 things: - one was making colours because yeah, they are all making...
  12. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

Yes correct :) And indeed, this is how I would also describe the comparison roughly too.
  13. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

Yeah you guys are too good for the 8-80 so I can understand that, you probably flatten it like gorgonzola on a wooden plank ;) For you D09c will be much better! What do you or them use on BH? just curious
  14. 🅲🅰🅽🅳🅸🅳 🅲🅰🅼🅴🆁🅰 to reveal Chinese cheaters

At the risk of being controversial, but boosting at home is the same as boosting in the factory, just that at home you can fine tune it to your own taste. All pros boost, chinese european and chinese, it's a must to play at the top level :) And I agree with @NDH on the rest of his post :)
  15. New FH Rubber (Glayzer, Fastarc G1, Omega VII Pro)

No I havent but from looking at composition and philosophy, what you say is correct, try it out and see I'd say! Curious about your experience, I'll try some xiom blades soonish, have them in the backlog ;)
  16. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

For most amateurs no, the opposite. For advanced players, better use D09c, the throw angle of H8 is low and flicking and looping is more difficult, H8 is a FH rubber by philosophy.
  17. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

If you are a high regional player or a national player then indeed it is too soft, but most amateurs will not have an easy time to bottom it out :) For advanced players I'd much rather recommend D09c!
  18. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

VERY differently haha H8 is much lower throwing and the hard version is considerably more difficult to activate. I think that the best way to explain it is that Wang Chuqin used H8 hard for a while on his BH and we the mortals should stick to H8-80 ;)
  19. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

Yeah I totally understand your feeling, and indeed, the throw of 09c is like very few others :) The crack you get when you hit perfect is addictive haha
  20. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

Yep, I would not say worse per se, more like just more controlled haha but i understand where the worse comes from, less speed, bit less speed, and more difficult to activate overall. I do enjoy the lower throw on it and the price :) D09c is a great rubber anyways!
