  1. Go for Fang Bo B2X or Hurricane Long 5

WQC vs SYS first impression: SYS more control, more muted, larger handle :) More to come!
  2. Go for Fang Bo B2X or Hurricane Long 5

I played with the B2 for a bit yes, but I found the handle not really comfortable, so moved to B2X :) I'm testing the Long 5 at the moment, I think it is indeed softer/flexier, has more gears and more vibration. But I will do a review soonish after I have tested it properly for at least a month :)

Ah interesting thanks for letting us know @harty (i presume you are lubos? :D). Send a message if you guys also have it! Via prott the waiting times are endless haha
  4. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

Yes its not bad, tried it enough on Innerforce ALC and lots of control, very slow indeed so needs a tempo blade :) a bit like bluegrip s2 in a certain way haha
  5. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

I ll take a bit of time still to do the blade reviews but will come for sure, I just want to make sure I have all details so that takes a bit of time :) And yeah best is to settle and focus on technique and tactics indeed! Yeah 8-80 has a lot of control and that's where it excels, it's not the...
  6. Go for Fang Bo B2X or Hurricane Long 5

I have 3 B2X and one Long 5 I'm starting to play test now seriously (thanks for the trade @Matteones !!) and I can tell you that they are certainly different blades: Handle is different, B2X is bulkier, Long 5 more refined in neck/shoulders, Long 5 is smaller overall Feeling is different, B2X...
  7. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

Niceee! Im testing SYS and Long5 in parallel at the moment, just to compare them with B2X and WCQ blades, then I will tell you! First impressions is that I like the neck/shoulders of Long5 more than of WCQ and just a bit more than SYS but the SYS sanded is also very nice. Definitely different...
  8. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

Uf I find that hard to say, I tested also 55 briefly this past week and for me it was the same good NUZN grip, but I dont have real game evidence to compare with 55 or 50, need to test both properly! In any case, 48 had zero ball slippage, even on very thin brushes where my hurricanes always...
  9. Struggling to find the right racket (offensive player)

Yeah Id first slow down on rubbers, innerforce is a great racket and if you like the handle (which is particular), then stick to it for a while :)
  10. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

I think it will depend on your level, I'd lean towards yes and that it will be controlled power, as opposed to NUZN 45 where I suspect will be too few for you @merlin el mago
  11. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

Yep very similar impressions to mine! I like how easily you could counterloop with it! That was my favorite part :) Thanks for sharing!
  12. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

Sorry Felipe! Im at borussia dusseldorf 4 days and im a bit behind on messages! Both DHS WCQ and B2X :) Fastarc G1 I havent tested so much in depth that I can to into detail sorry, specially because i didnt test it with the same blades! I do think nuzn has more top speed and slower tempo at...
  13. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

Less tack and more tensor oriented rubber, more bounce and power :)
  14. Current meta in TT serve receive: just bh everything.

If you have the legs, and the skills, and the reaction time needed, then you can BH it all which is always better than a FH flick, the FH flick is under the same circumstances, a lower % rate shot
  15. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

answered on reddit! C48 is the old gen, just like bluegrip S1 is old gen, and new gens are a bit more tensor, like NUZN and BlueGrip J. Seems this is the new modern TT direction for many brands
  16. Donic BlueGrip S2 Review: A Control-First Learning Hybrid Rubber

Haha thanks @Kilogramme ! Done with love and passion for the TT community as always :D
  17. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

Cool and otherwise I have the Tibhar MK at home and I will be testing it too, can be an option as well together with BlueGrip S1 :) So many options ;)
  18. Flared(FL) or Straight(ST)?

This is why I also prefer FL, index usually doesn't change that much (moves a bit higher on FH) and it's just thumb changing, I really like FL handles especially from DHS :D
  19. Donic BlueGrip S2 Review: A Control-First Learning Hybrid Rubber

I'm back with a new hybrid rubber review cycle (I'm into hybrids ;) ), this time with the Donic BlueGrip series and I'll be reviewing theBlueGrip S2, S1 and C2. I promise to come back to the new J series in a bit, but doing the older ones first allows me to later on compare them to the new ones...
