  1. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

hahaha yeah I just published it online and now posting about it on reddit and here, you beat me to it! ;) And yeah, I think a more compact and spinny BH is always a good thing if is not your dominant side! 8-80 and NUZN 48 are also very different though, so you may enjoy nuzn 48 more if you go...
  2. lamination

I love this detailed threads, I get so much satisfaction reading them, it's almost like a documentary on discovery channel hahaha
  3. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

A word of caution here, nuzn 48 and rakza z are very different, rakza z will feel very slow and dwelly compared to nuzn 48, it also throws higher @Grumms :)
  4. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

Yes this is correct, nuzn is a bit more linear than normal tensors, meaning that it releases the catapult slower (more in stages) and this is why people feel the 2 gears. This is a key characteristic of hybrid rubbers and why more people have started playing with those, slow on the low gear...
  5. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

It could work! I have not tried inventus (heard great things on it though from friends), S2 is too slow yes, S1 is also a good one, playtesting it now in depth, very good and similar to nuzn 48, just more dampening and dwell, less durability/grip, spin is similar. I like rakza z on forehand as...
  6. Andro NUZN 45 Review: A Controlled Hybrid Tensor for the Backhand

I have not tried C1 such in depth to be able to compare all the details, so I dont want to give wrong info, sorry! I will need to do this with C1 and G1 some time in the future, maybe others can :)
  7. New Hugo rubbers from Joola

Im getting one of each soon in max, so I will review after I'm done with Bluegrip S2/S1/C2. Will compare to other hybrid rubbers I have tested before :)
  8. Go back to Hurricane?

Main thing intermediate players will notice from OS to BS is that opening heavy backspin on blue is harder due to the lower throw and harder sponge. You may feel the catapult difference and sponge density as well :)
  9. Andro NUZN 45 Review: A Controlled Hybrid Tensor for the Backhand

haha a bit yes! But it was a good story to read @Kilogramme ! :) I cant wait to test XVC in depth for a month at least! And yeah, let's bring it back to NUZN 45 if others have questions :D
  10. Past Innerforce users - what did you move to and why?

Some people with bigger hands try it and move on due to the handle design, not sure if it qualifies for the purposes of this thread though, but it's not a typical 'viscaria-like' handle :D For me is fine though, but worth mentioning :D
  11. Andro NUZN 45 Review: A Controlled Hybrid Tensor for the Backhand

I will try XVC properly soonish, its waiting in the package at home and im itching to give it a deep dive, then I can tell you more, but I had this H3N boosted feeling last time, so I guess it will be similar :D And yes my opinions are a bit against the mainstream, I know, I just dont like...
  12. Need some insight in Fang Bo B2X

Yeah agreed thats what i would have done too but felt lazy haha you are indeed exactly right about your feeling :)
  13. Need some insight in Fang Bo B2X

Have not tried 970xx sorry! So I cant say :D
  14. Need some insight in Fang Bo B2X

Yinhe pro 01/05 are good blades, a bit muted for my feel, but good blades nevertheless for what they cost :D
  15. Need some insight in Fang Bo B2X

Yeah I have the PG5 and PG5X at home and indeed softer, more dwell, higher throw for sure. Only thing is that Pg5 has an impossibly short and weird handle, PG5X is better but my hand still hurts so unfortunately I cant use them, even though I had high expectations on those :D I have never...
  16. Need some insight in Fang Bo B2X

My own opinion but be careful, I love DHS handles and I have small hands plus biased: The B2X has the best handle of all DHS blades (a close second is PG7, third place for WCQ) imo but it's still very DHS. If you like thicker handles, loki (K6 for example), sanwei (fextra 7 for example), yinhe...
  17. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

MK is different from bluegrip, as MK is more like nuzn, durability seems to be an issue for some people but its a good rubber :) I will review too this year I think! Lets see 8-80 then, be careful boosting ir, it gets agitated after doing so, I didnt like it boosted initially.
  18. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

I see, if you need tacky with soft topsheet maybe bluegrip S1/C2? Doing the testing in depth now and happy with the results so far :) For myself, I do like rakza Z a lot I must say, and Glayzer 09c not bad either! Or try chinese hybrids like target national/gear or similar? Big dipper V is...
  19. FS/FT: Butterfly Primorac Carbon and Stiga Dragon Power 55 black

Haha yeah I wanted to try it in depth, and most importantly the handle, the WCQ is almost good but on the small side, B2X is perfect, but blade is stiff, lets see HL5 ;)
  20. [Equipment Guide] Best First Intermediate Table Tennis Rubbers in 2026: A Comprehensive List & Analysis

Yeah BG5 is not slow indeed, 8.4 feels on the low side, agreed. But as @Tyce said, its done with different blades, experience levels, techniques and bias, so its only better when a lot of people added their thoughts :)
