I did the same mistake. The problem i had with ALC blade is the lack of feedback and vibration. Our brain need this to process what is a good contact. My game really improved when i switched to all wood.
I really like the Petr Korbel, so that's what i will suggest to you. You could use Fastarc...
I have 8 x Mantra Pro in stock. Because they where on sale on Aliexpress and i like to play with them. I am an EJ or hoarder? 🤔
Now i realize how long they last and i have at least 2 years worth of rubbers.
Simple time tracker on Android. Activity name is the rubber or whatever you want to track. I start and stop every training session, and with filters you can see your time and total.
Mantra Pro is very durable.
I installed an app on my phone to track how many hours of play i do. So far i have 120h on a set of Mantra Pro and they still grip like new. Almost no wear marks from the ball. Just my fingers.
I just fixed my Petr Korbel after a hit on the table removed a big piece of the top ply. I removed the rubbers and kept the wood parts.
I glued them with wood glue. I used a clamp with two plastic pieces to press and hold it in place. After a few hours, light sanding and a light coat of...
I quit drinking three years ago. Now TT is one of my stress relief. I really NEED to play twice a week. In fact im addicted but at least it's good for my health.
It's a very good blade. I used it 2 months, and eventually will play again with it. It's fast, a bit too fast for me but the feeling is really nice.
I have T05 2.1mm and T64 1.9mm, total weight is 192g. Not too bad.
I can imagine at 240g it is very heavy and hard on your arm.
You swing, jump, move right, all at the same time. And you hit too late.
You need to move into position, be solid on your legs, then hit using shoulder rotation, and with a forward motion.
You didn't read the spin correctly. If the ball shoot out, then it was topspin. A slower rubber will only give a high ball to your opponent to attack. it's better to practice serve receive with stronger opponent.
Nittaku Miyabi is a good blade if you want to try what a 1 ply hinoki feel like, and it's relatively affordable. It's 9mm thick, but it feel soft and it's fast.
Septear is a 7 ply hinoki, good option but never tried it so i don't know how it feel.
