  1. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

No, the point I was making is that Lind's arm isn't actually hiding the contact, even it might obscure the ball path. There's a reason why no player complains about it, and my assumption is that they probably can see the contact. If they didn't, then Lind would get more complaints and more...
  2. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

I think it's a matter of degrees. Completely hidden serve and getting a ton of servce aces is a lot more egregious than technically illegal serves but ones other players can handle. Until someone chill as Timo Boll complains about Lind's serve, I will say that LSD's case is worse.
  3. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

The one time the refs actually make a call on Lin's serve was a perfectly legal one, ironically haha
  4. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Lind is scolding LSD about his illegal serves during the match. Needs to happen more often.
  5. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Don't go up on your opponent 9-5 on Table 1 because it never ends well. Edit: Even the Goat Ma Long mentioned this lol
  6. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Great comeback from Ito down 9-4 in the 5th game. Unfortunately I was on the wrong betting end of that one too since I had Kim as a 3-1 underdog. Looked like it should've been 50/50 odds. Kim kinda played too conservative there at the end. Kinda just blocking passively and not putting as much...
  7. Aliexpress Singles Day 2024

The sales day at Aliexpress generally give you pretty good deals on products as opposed to random days. The inidividual items going on sale vary but there are sitewide coupons where if you meet a certain amount you automatically get a set discount. It's nothing crazy but saving like $10 on a...
  8. The Archer Grip

Looks like exaggerated Tenaly grip but with more bizarre Cybershape face. Seems like someone designed a blade to have as many angles as possible.
  9. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Felix Lebrun Down pretty big in Game 2, throws tantrum, wins game. Down pretty big in Game 3, throws tantrum, ties it up at 8-8 I don't know any other athlete who improves their gameplay after throwing tantrums.
  10. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Is it just me or does Lin Shidong have a very small following compared to his level? I'm hearing less jaiyous and applause for him than most other Chinese athletes even when he's making some rather good plays.
  11. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Lol Harimoto tried the fast long serve twice at match point. The first one was smart. The second one maybe not so much Edit: The third worked tho! Man this match is funny And Truls takes it. What a thoroughly entertaining match
  12. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Do you remember any matches recently where it has worked against top players? Doesn't have to be top of the top like WCQ, but guys like Kao who can go deep in tournaments. I enjoy watching these games the most and feel like it's a style I'd like to emulate.
  13. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

This Game 4 between Harimoto and Truls is the craziest single game I think I've ever seen in table tennis. This is like exhibition level stuff lol Edit: I've never seen Harimoto genuinely laugh like that while losing a game so even he's amused by it all
  14. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Bovada is the only sportsbook I've found that consistently has lines. The limits are very small though, so it's more of a fun action thing to do rather than a money making opportunity. I was able to get +1000 odds on Sareen on his win against Kamal Archanta though, so sometimes you can get big odds.
  15. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Wow that was an amazing comeback win for Lind. Looked for a bit like it would a 3-0 for KCJ but Lind started playing a bit more passive and giving him spin variety and letting Kao make the mistakes. This is a formula that works well for casual players but I don't see it done like this at this...
  16. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Great adjustments by Lind mixing up the spin and tempo to bring it back to 2-2. Lind is making me a believer. Definitely something going on if he is able to beat another quality opponent after WCQ
  17. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Was surprised to see Kao a betting underdog against Lind here. Especially with how well Kao played in Macao. After the emotional high of yesterday I don't expect Lind to be able to repeat the performance so I put a couple hundred bucks on Kao.
  18. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I've experienced it with LAC and Rxton 3 Blue too. Doesn't affect play at all but it is a bit annoying.
  19. Big Dipper, Loki Arthur China experience.

After using the R9 a few times now I think I mustve gotten a heavily boosted version of it. It's maybe the fastest and bounciest Chinese rubber I've used. Closer to Jupiter 3 38d than to anything else. I've had to adjust my swing to a flatter trajectory and more angled blade otherwise the ball...
  20. Practice serve without table

If your bed has a similar height to a table you can try serving onto your bed. Remove the blankets and pillows and straighten out your sheets. There won't be any bounce but you'll be able to observe the amount of spin you can get on the balls at least.
