You gotta admit it's a bit sus to make a loud noise specifically in the exact moment someone is about to receive your serve. If it was happening all game and she just randomly grunts even while not even attempting a shot (tourettes syndrome maybe?), then I can understand maybe it could be...
If you want to just try out rosewood outer as an experiment you can try out the Loki Red Flame. Only 45 bucks or so and there's reviews out there comparing it to the Clipper CRW, Rose 5, and Ebenholz.
The equipment is necessary for success at her age, yes. But the equipment isn't sufficient to achieve it. You also have to be very good at using it, which she's clearly is. I think a lot of people confuse necessary with sufficient.
This explains a lot. Those shots were exactly what I was talking about.
Reminded me of those photos we had to take in grade school where there's one version of us looking at the camera and the other overlay looking off into the distance.
Some unlucky B-teamer from the Chinese National Team is going to wake up tomorrow and find out that they've been converted into a Team India clone, once they reach into their locker and notice that pips and anti-spin has been glued to their racket where it was double inverted before.
Also, has there been a bigger age gap in a Championship level event than Grandma Ni playing Miwa? 60 vs 15. Can't think of any other sports where someone is competing with another person 4 times their age.
She really does.
The whole team kinda looks cold and miserable out there for some reason. They look like a group of girls who got locked in a freezer and are waiting for help to come.
Hirano seems to have a runny nose or something. And some odd bit of action with her swatting invisible flies...
Whether the rubber suits the blade depends on the person holding it, I think. You should probably give everybody a sense of how you play and what your strengths and weaknesses are, to get a more tailored response.
Yeah that could've been a crushing mental blow for Akula there. But her gameplay didn't suffer at all.
I always think she's a young player because she looks 15, but she's actually 25 and a vet
3-0 for Akula vs WYD. Looked like WYD was starting a reverse sweep down 3-8 in the 3rd and bringing it back to 9-9. Credit to Akula for keeping her cool and finishing the job.
More fuel for the fire. This thread gonna heat up soon lol
I think you can watch T1 by signing up for a streaming account (free I think) on the WTT site. If that's too much of a hassle, you'll have to VPN out to a different country where it's available.
Out of the dozen or so rubbers I've tried, LAC is probably my favorite. Still pristine condition after about 40 hours on one and 25 hours on another. Still wonder if the bubbling problem is fixed or if I just got lucky.
Yeah I agree. But this kinda leads credence to the theory that @NextLevel and @Tony's Table Tennis have been saying about the CNT in that a lot of their success can be attributed to how well they are prepared for a specific opponent. When playing in a very large tournament with a ton of...
Alright, now do SYS vs all of women from India and you can talk about how previous results means the recent result was actually impossible and acutally coudln't have happened.
You really should drop the sample size thing because anybody with any statistical leanings, or even your casual bettor...
At least now when JamesZ comes by complaining about the inverted rubber cabal making sure pips aren't disruptive enough, we have something to point to prove they can, indeed, be very disruptive.
