  1. Europe Top-16 Cup 2026 (5–8 February 2026)

So the next match was the one match where I took a gamble on volatility over stability. Lutz is volatile and if both players play their top level, Lutz will win. If they both play below their normal level, Bergstrom will win.
  2. Europe Top-16 Cup 2026 (5–8 February 2026)

You made reasonable picks, but Bernie is a Tibhar player and while Franziska also plays on Tibhar tables quite a bit, Simon plays on them a lot in France. Bernie also has to have prepared something in case she was on the same half of the draw as Sabine, so I expected her to come out for...
  3. Europe Top-16 Cup 2026 (5–8 February 2026)

The tables are Tibhar - pick the player who you feel trains more on Tibhar tables lol.
  4. Europe Top-16 Cup 2026 (5–8 February 2026)

    Gauzy, Szocs, Lebrun, Lutz.
  5. Europe Top-16 Cup 2026 (5–8 February 2026)

Pavade looked like an amateur blocking Yu Fu's opening topspin.
  6. Europe Top-16 Cup 2026 (5–8 February 2026)

And if Freitas is good at some thing, he is extremely consistent hitting topspins, including against the chop block.

  9. 35th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2026, Haikou, 2/4-8

Ankur eliminates Chen Y - interesting that both Chen's get eliminated so China has Wang, Lin, Xiang and Zhou (who all finished first). Japan has everyone go through but Harrimoto and Tanaka second. WCT is a character for sure, beats the C and D players 3-2, 3-2 and A player Harimoto 3-1. Liu...

  12. 🌎 🇩🇪 TTD Forum Meet Up in Düsseldorf - September 11th, 12th & 13th 🇩🇪 🌎

His point is that say coming from America, if you book a flight to Duesseldorf, you might be taken to an airport in London first and wait etc. while you can fly into Frankfurt directly and take a train - the direct flights are more for Frankfurt from most parts of the US. The fligjht might even...
  13. Alternative to Dignics 09C

Looping more, yes. And the sponge would still need to work fairly well and that is what majorly deteriorates with age.
  14. Alternative to Dignics 09C

If you are 2200+ and play away from the table sure. Below that, not so sure...
  15. Alternative to Dignics 09C

That's what fast blades are for... I tried it on a Viscaria SALC and was surprised - I am sure on a Mizutani ZLC or some SALC or SZLC blade it will be fine. Probably will block pretty well too. Obviously not the same top end power as D09c but that comes with all the usual caveats and such...
  16. 🌎 🇩🇪 TTD Forum Meet Up in Düsseldorf - September 11th, 12th & 13th 🇩🇪 🌎

  17. 🌎 🇩🇪 TTD Forum Meet Up in Düsseldorf - September 11th, 12th & 13th 🇩🇪 🌎

Hope I am counted, will definitely do my best to make it, though it will not be easy. Excited about this, just need some formal literature on venue address so I can look at the logistics.
  18. 35th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2026, Haikou, 2/4-8

He is fine as he has an unbeatable games advantage over Chen Junsong in any 3 way tie and can only realistically finish second if Lam beats Chen Junsong and will finish first if Chen Junsong beats Lam and Chen Junsong has to beat Lam 3-0 to qualify.
  19. 35th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2026, Haikou, 2/4-8

You still have to be a good player to beat her.
  20. 35th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2026, Haikou, 2/4-8

Still a team event, not just one player.
