  1. Joola Tezzo Series is here !

Do you plan on measuring the frequency with spectrum analyzer? Curious to see what a inner carbon All+ blade measures in at.
  2. Wait for tackiness to wear off?

Shouldn't the tackiness result in a higher throw as the ball adheres to and "climbs up" the rubber? Something like this video is demonstrating: Maybe the topsheet is not compressing and "grabbing" the ball enough with your usual stroke, so it's just being slowed down by the tack? I recently...
  3. Singapore Smash 2023 - Multiple Streams for Multiple Viewing Angles!

It's going to be a large handle size in order to fit WCQ's big head on it
  4. Yinhe Mercury 2 vs 9000E

Well I got a sheet of Rxton 5 now. I noticed in an old post you stating that the newer lot of Rxton 5 is a lot less tacky. I suspect that I might have gotten some of this lot since this sheet feels way less tacky than the Mercury 2 sheets I've handled (I've glued about 4 sheets). Another...
  5. WTT Singapore Smash 2023

Great performance by Moregard there despite falling short. The highest level and most competitive men's match of the tournament so far. FZD had two amazing returns in the 6th when Moregard had him dead to rights or we might've went to a game 7.
  6. WTT Singapore Smash 2023

Cybershaped Truls Moregard going up against round-shaped Fan Zhendong right now!
  7. Review Yinhe Moon 12 Blue

Thanks for the update @Attitude. I'm still looking forward to using this once I put some more mileage on my regular Moon soft. Still a beginner and developing my BH loops and flicks, so the safe arc and high control sounds like something I'll really appreciate. Right now I'm deciding between...
  8. WTT Singapore Smash 2023

Aruna kind of fell apart after dropping the lead in the 2nd game. Aruna was at least able to get into the rally with his BH and setup his FH against Harimoto but couldn't get anything going this time. Credit to Hugo for completely neutralizing Aruna. Lot of spin variety and good placement to...
  9. WTT Singapore Smash 2023

Joo Cheonhui taking Sun Yinsha to Game 7! Get on youtube and watch this one!
  10. WTT Singapore Smash 2023

Sun is #1 and Wang Manyu is #4 so they got put into same half. Meng is #2 and Wang Yidi is #3 so they got put into the other half. I think this is how they always do the brackets. They won't meet until the semifinals.
  11. Overwhelmed

If you want to go with what the current scientific research suggests, then you want to focus on just one particular facet of whatever stroke or skill you're training during a given session. Here's a helpful Huberman Lab video where he talks about this concept: The whole podcast is worth a...
  12. WTT Singapore Smash 2023

Pretty sure the WTT graphic I just saw showed Aruna and Calderano matched up for the quarterfinals. It'll be FZD/Moregard, WCQ/LGY, Aruna/Calderano, and Ma/Qiu.
  13. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

According to Yinhe marketing materials, the Yinhe Pro 01 is the signature blade of Zhu Yi. And yes, it is a Viscaria clone, although it's a thinner, toned down, and more controlled version of the Yinhe V-14 Pro which is another of their Viscaria clones.
  14. WTT Singapore Smash 2023

Great championship game in mixed doubles. Lots of great rallies and highlight reel shots. Hina Hayata always seems to make some incredible clutch shots in her doubles matches. Looking forward to seeing these two pairs match up more in the future.
  15. WTT Singapore Smash 2023

It's not like Harimoto hasn't played Aruna before and this is an unknown opponent to him. A bit disrespectful to call Aruna's performance a fluke. If what you're saying is true, and it was Aruna's strategy that paid off, then that makes it even less of a fluke. Maybe you mean a different word here?
  16. WTT Singapore Smash 2023

Incredible performance by Aruna. Just sending back all of Harimotos well placed shots with F-U power. When he's really in his groove, Aruna can look absolutely dominant. Also, please replace the thumbnail of this thread with Aruna forehand shot.
  17. Should Ruwen Filus be penalised and suspended?!

Filus might not have even known where the racket ended up after he threw it. Maybe 30 seconds after the throw, Filus's coach walks over to pick up the racket and didn't say a word to the camerawoman either. Thought for sure the coach would've offered an apology and was pretty surprised he didn't.
  18. WTT Singapore Smash 2023

Thriller of a match between Truls Moregard and Shinsuke Togami. Ended with the best rally of the match, which is always exciting.
  19. New paddle suggestions

I didn't know! I'll be sure to check out the dates next time so I'm not talking to phantoms.
  20. New paddle suggestions

Your blade already is very fast (maybe even too fast) for your level. If you feel it's too slow, it's probably because you're using rubber tech developed 30 years ago. Check out this bounce test on Sriver rubber: versus Rakza 7 rubber: 15.5 cm vs 27.5 cm. That's almost double the bounce...
