  1. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 NOV 2025

The problem with Sora is not what happens when he is up 2-0 or 2-1. It is more what happens when he is down 1-3 or 0-2 and his opponent is outplaying him. His appearance and effort seem to br drastically different when winning and losing in a way that comes.off as quitting early.
  2. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 NOV 2025

Probably the Japaneae #1, Harimoto has a lot to prove about his recent form, it has been driven a bit by delusionally passive control play. That said, when they introduce TTR, it will be interesting to see whether Sora.can sustain this.
  3. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 Nov 2025

Yes. He got his National Championship because the association gave it to him. Zeio has proclaimed it so it is so.
  4. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 NOV 2025

3-3, 5-6 was peak Hayata. Miwa is just the sounder player but Hayata has that scrambling element A pity her timing is just not as good as Miwa's.
  5. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 NOV 2025

Hayata then does a more logical but equally underwhelming timeout. Timeouts can be very overrated ...
  6. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 NOV 2025

Was Miwa's timeout the most underwhelming timeout of all time, 6-4 to 6-7 (timeout) to 6-11?
  7. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 Nov 2025

Not bad for someone struggling to surpass his teammates.
  8. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 NOV 2025

Dang is an amazing blocker, very underestimated skillset for defending powerful opponents, Sora will need the right strategy. Not going to be as easy as many here are projecting unless serve return. Is an issue.
  9. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 NOV 2025

Seriously? Unfortunately the match is over. But he gave it his all. He can be annoying but I respect his fight.
  10. Thread about Japanese Players

Yes, I am biased against illegal serves. I also believe nothing is necessary in table tennis so you are also right that cleaning up her serves is not necessary to improve those shots. My prescription is based on my experience dealing with players who rely heavily on serves, usually illegal...
  11. Thread about Japanese Players

If we are trying to project current and future form with an eye towards recent and upcoming events, and since there were identifiable reasons for Hayata's loss of form that if she is being honest with recent revelations are unlikely to apply going forward, then using a period of injury recovery...
  12. Thread about Japanese Players

I think you are taking my prescription almost robotically, it is like saying Harimoto should improve his forehand movement and then responding that Harimoto wins most of his points with his backhand, and he already practices forehand footwork already and that by using his forehand more, he would...
  13. Thread about Japanese Players

My counterargument is that she is returning to peak Hayata and neither peak Hashimoto or peak Ito can beat peak Hayata. The unsustainability of recent form is a given, that is why selection tournaments/dates etc. happen as closely to the event in question as reasonable. If we want to just go...

Lol. It's okay. It's your word vs mine. Professional trolls like you lack honor so, I don't owe you any.

  16. Thread about Japanese Players

Time flies and nationals is once again around the corner so she has to take her fate into her own hands by winning.
  17. Thread about Japanese Players

I think the match vs Ito will say a lot but I dont think anyone watching her most recent form will say she is anything less than the Japanese #2.
  18. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 NOV 2025

They are teammates. No real surprises, they already know who wins in practice, they just try to change that and hope for the best but it seems it didn't change.
  19. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 NOV 2025

IMHO, based on what I have seen drom Hana the last 3 months, Miwa has unheralded company. How closely she will track Miwa is unclear, but Miwa will not be alone for her age.
