  1. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

Isn't it a bit insane to state the obvious as if it is deep insight?
  2. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

That would be news to me, I haven't heard anyone who doesn't mention his serve as a massive strength of his game.
  3. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

Han I believe is a short pips chopper.
  4. What makes more difference - rubbers or blades

Hopefully, you will come to Germany next year so I can see the player who is sharing all this wisdom. The primary reason the game looks the way it does today is because of rubber technology. Not blade technology. This is easy to prove/demonstrate. If you took away all the composite blades...
  5. What makes more difference - rubbers or blades

Because the rubber contribution was too large for him to mess with. Tinkering slightly with the blade was much easier.
  6. What makes more difference - rubbers or blades

These are variability experiments: if Wang changed his rubber from Hurricane to Dignics or changed his blade from Viscaria to W968, which would have had more impact on his game? That is the proper framing of the question. Of course anyone can play better or worse by changing equipment, but the...
  7. What makes more difference - rubbers or blades

@IB66, A lot of people post stuff that hints at a low playing level without really having to explicitly admit it. Anyone who with a straight face thinks that the game we play today is determined more by blade technology than by rubber technology is a really not a serious player. Obviously...
  8. What makes more difference - rubbers or blades

While the rubbers are not that far apart, I would struggle to think of any commerciap blade that would reduce the performance of D09c significantly. Obviously, there is a blend of rubber and balde characteristics, but rubber is clearly the reason why we play how we play, it is easier to play...
  9. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

That would be insane. But Tibhar tables, Tibhar players winning.... it is all in the air...
  10. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

I don't know whether it is about the country or whether there is an ETTU vendor that specializes in this. But the European countries have a way of doing this really well.
  11. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

Insane reminder that anything is possible in TT. The result is one thing but the scoreline is completely bonkers as Reilly might say.
  12. Mizutani ZLC backhand rubber recommendation

    Dignics 80.
  13. Why is this forum so obsessed with the Japanese women's team?

Japanese women's TT blossomed with the success of the golden generation preceded slightly by Ai Fukuhara, Sayaka Hirano and Kasumi Ishikawa and then the generation itself was Mima Ito, Miu Hirano then Mima Ito then Hina Hayata. Their popularity also made TT more popular in Japan and the Tokyo...
  14. R16 BRA 1-2 NOR Full-Time, FIFA World Cup 2026

Nah, he just makes it clear he enjoys trolling. He thinks calling someone stupid is the same thing as the person saying they (the person) or what they did is stupid. He can't tell the difference.
  15. Butterfly Zyre 03

I didn’t provide the link but I definitely agree with it. Stiffness is usually about thickness or use of composites to prevent bending but it is definitely relative. Balsa blades are exactly as you described, they are usually thick and soft and hence very stiff because they are thick.
  16. Expedite Rule

More like keep the tournament running on time and avoid the stress of an abnormally long match on everyone (defenders are consistentl enough to play for hours with pushes). The last Harimoto Hashimoto match had it at the very end. It is usually more common when defenders are playing each...
  17. Expedite Rule

Its an ancient rule that was developed to prevent choppers from taking hours to complete matches. If you have an alternative do share but it clearly has a legitimate purpose. Many things that are important can be irritating and some get less irritating when you get slightly more used to them...
  18. Butterfly Zyre 03

Hinoki/Limba outer or any soft outer ply, not very fast like my current blade or a BalsaX Carbo.
  19. WTT London Star Contender - October 2025

You are a sad human being, and I do not say that lightly.
  20. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

    Kanak got a terrible draw....
