Truls is slowly putting together a very underrated career so far. From being supposedly one one the worst silver medallists of all time to now having a WTTC bronze, Olympics silver and decent performances in this Champions and so on... just needs some European titles and wins over Felix....

  4. WTT Champions Japan 2025 - 7-11 Aug 2025

Lind broke the surpassing algorithm. So we cannot tell anymore if Togami has surpassed Uda by beating Lind as Lind is not Duda. But can Togami fix the algo and beat Wang in front of the Japanese crowd? Probably not but it would end a lot of discussion. Good luck, Shunsuke!
  5. WTT Champions Japan 2025 - 7-11 Aug 2025

I feel for Dang, it sucks to lose after beating the #1 seed. Go Kanak! :ROFLMAO:
  6. WTT Champions Japan 2025 - 7-11 Aug 2025

Joining Duesseldorf is already paying dividends but in their last league match, Kanak was up 2-0 and lost 2-3. Hoping this is not a best of seven version of that.

Can Togami surpass anyone and join Tomo or will he just be another Japanese tragedy following the path of Sora, Hiroka and Uda?

Depends on what injury she described. Don't assume it is the one you know about even if it is related.
  12. WTT Champions Japan 2025 - 7-11 Aug 2025

Yes it has always been this way. Even in tennis as well. They evaluate the nature and description of the injury to see wherher it occurred during the match or was a preexisting condition. A lot comes down to how the athlete describes incurring it so it isn't perfectly objective.
  13. WTT Champions Japan 2025 - 7-11 Aug 2025

I hate this no coaches policy between compatriots, especially when there is an age or experience disparity.
  14. WTT Champions Japan 2025 - 7-11 Aug 2025

The most important thing if you care about improving is a bit hard - it is to find someone who managed to improve under similar circumstances to yours and get him to mentor you. 1400 TTR is about 1700 USATT and to me that is a serious and respectable amateur and often a person off the street in...

  17. WTT Champions Japan 2025 - 7-11 Aug 2025

Who is better, Jang or Wang? Just giving you hard time, I know what you mean, Tomo has been working on this forever and still hasn't nailed it lol.
  18. WTT Champions Japan 2025 - 7-11 Aug 2025

Its really funny how Lind said that he and his coach decided he needed to go bomba after his timeout when m y impression was that Lnd decided he himself needed to go bomba without any serious coaching input lol...
  19. WTT Champions Japan 2025 - 7-11 Aug 2025

Well Lind has killed Togami's chance to surpass Uda. Oh well.... but can Togami beat the dangerous Lind? Stay tuned...
  20. WTT Champions Japan 2025 - 7-11 Aug 2025

If Duda wins vs Lind, will Togami have a chance to surpass the surpassers? And will he seize his chance? Did anyone hear the timeout between Lind and coach? Players can be funny lol...
