ITTF are not WTT events and the issue is not around having a tournament but the status of the tournament in the WTT hierarchy and the funding required to support it.

Wang did his job efficiently. As much as I hate the hidden serves, we really needed a quick match after those long ladies matches so we can see the match we really came to see. I didn't stay up this late to see CNT battles that happen 10 times a year.

The hidden services have pounded Lin Gaoyuan into submission. To be fair, Wang backs them up viciously and ferociously.

It is the shift in playing distances from close to the table to away from the table which he doesn't do as fluidly and confidently as players who have been doing it far longer. But over time he will continue to improve.
