Somewhat. I have accepted that my technique and my movement are not going to improve as my body is too injured to support real training so I just have to play a lot and get smarter. And rest for long periods of time.

They are similar but G1 feels a bit harder and more controllable/linear. That doesn't align with everyone but it works very well for me.

The main point of composites is to increase stiffness without increasing thickness. This is a good thing if you prefer stiffer blades but want the thinner feel of a looping blade. Thinner composites can get the stiffness of thicker 7 plies.
