I see LJK's loss as facing a terrible matchup. Gardos is one of the best close to the table and backhand oriented male players in the world. Hard to play against such a style without specific advance preparation for it.

The Boll-Freitas match was amazing. Freitas being unable to convert one of those match points changed the whole match. His play in general was inspiring and it was good to see him bring out the best of Timo Boll.
