  1. Table tennis culture in non-dominant Asian countries? (NOT China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan)

Lucky. In Singapore it is S$0.99 per hour for Under 18, and peak is S$4.99 per hour. As I don't have SingPass (Electronic Identification Method for Singaporeans) as I'm not yet 15, I can't book the courts, and require my parents to book for me. You can't physically book, all online sadly. 😢 I...
  2. Durability of Fastarc and Rakza 7.

The shop which i glued the rubbers at threw away those covers.
  3. Durability of Fastarc and Rakza 7.

This is the old yinhe 988 I had for 1 1/2 year. No chips yet as can be seen. That volant was that old as when I bought the blade. Sure there is sweat, but doesn't look abused right?
  4. Durability of Fastarc and Rakza 7.

Ok. This is a relatively new bat. Got it during the Chinese new years. Played with it daily. Somehow it looked way more abused that my previous bat with much more milage. The handle indeed is cork. It's chewed up as the sweat disintegrated it. Had to keep the rest from falling apart by using...

    Summoning @PenHoldSandro and @Gozo Aruna
  6. Recordings of me playing with my senior

I am the player with glasses. This is recorded in school earlier today from 1.30pm to 3pm. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AUYFCTpa2o-XqCB5mfGIfuspmahlGBt0/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ALBh9Hm7LOQvP30nAsJcwkneDesl1UBw/view?usp=drivesdk...
  7. Some questions about Edge tape, Gluing, impacts on gameplay

I thought pros don't use edge tape cause they change rubbers so often that it's one extra thing that can be neglected?
  8. Durability of Fastarc and Rakza 7.

Have been playing those rubbers for a while. Normally very carful with my bat. But somehow there is much more dents and chips in the two rubbers, especially for fastarc, compared to the rubbers on my other bats. The volant 1 I had on my previous yinhe 988 jpen has not a single chip, but my...
  9. Some questions about Edge tape, Gluing, impacts on gameplay

Always put edge tape. Looks better than saves your pretty racket edge, especially if you have one rubber only.
  10. How many fake left-handers are there?

True about the chopsticks and writing. Grandmother forced me to be right handed to "fit in". Left hand still stronger, and I use it more often to carry loads.
  11. SDC Handmade Blades

Yeah it's not about the custom order, it's about the price. I'm just a broke hobbyist.
  12. SDC Handmade Blades

    Woww
  13. DONIC New Zhang Jike blade

Good to see the dragon go. It just doesn't fit well. Plus, wondering why it's just "ZJ" on the blade. I'm quite sure no one would associate ZJ as Zhang Ji Ke. Well I certainly wouldn't. I was thinking about the old Butterfly Joo Sae Hyuk blade, with the 6 squares writing DEF, DEF-, ALL, OFF-...
  14. SDC Handmade Blades

Was thinking hinoki, Ayous, ALC, Kiri core. Not sure just fantasizing.
  15. SDC Handmade Blades

Any attempt of 8.5mm ALC Jpen with round head, raised grip that is not sweat absorbing cork? Maybe an OFF rated with sweet tpb blocks and nice feeling but the inner carbon providing balance of speed, as it's not gonna be 1 ply slapper hinoki. Maybe a 5 ply?
  16. Is Fastarck G-1 FH, Razka Z BH on Thibar Status power wood a good combo?

I think not just china, but asia in general. I found in Singapore Fastarc g-1, Rakza 7 and somehow the ancient Yasaka Mark V to be seen often, especially amongst senior players.
  17. What is this move that Xu Xin does?

I was thinking about that Xu Xin point against Freitas, that forehand flick.
  18. How many fake left-handers are there?

As a way to cope with the shakehand grip crossover point issues, hit balls deep into one corner always with a forehand. And for jpen means super forehands and neglecting the issue of wear backhand. Done deal.
