What is this move that Xu Xin does?

Iv always wondered what xu xin does in these clips, he just whips his hand around the ball. I think it is a strawberry flick, but it does not seem like one. I have seen so many matches where Xu Xin uses this to get a point right after the serve, he uses it like a forehand flick.
I thought this was so cool and I want to try it but I don't even know what it is, I hope someone can tell me what this is.

That's a forehand flick wi th lot of side spin, particularly easier to do with penhold than shakehand grip. Sometimes it makes the opponent surprised, but in general, it's a very easy to counter shot if expected.

It's not hard if you can do the normal FH flick, i.e. that you know how to use the wrist for on the table strokes. But the hardest part is to judge the incoming spin to pull that off.

It's a lot harder than backhand flip due to the wrist bio-mechanics. Even among penhold players, very few can execute this shot in matches.

Not necessarily true. I use it quite often, even when I play shakehand. The down side, as I mentioned, is that it's not very effective. The ball quality in general is just not as high as the BH flick, and it's not as versatile as the BH flicks as well.

It's rare even among penhold pros. That's why you saw the move in Xu Xin's highlight.
You can learn and try it for fun but not worthy spending time on it.

i am still very young and have lots of time for table tennis so I think I can work on this.

This is pretty much what a strawberry flick is for penholders.

It's remarkable that some unusual shots can be part of the 'canon' (technical word) of cool orthodox table tennis shots (eg Gauzy's two-handed shots, or Xu Xin's behind the back shots, strawberries, bananas, snakes), while some are considered odd and uncool (especially some of the shots by unbeatable old people)
