  1. Looking for an inner blade with small head size

I think Pro 03 feels very different, and feels quite head light. That's the reason i didn't like it.
  2. Looking for an inner blade with small head size

Yinhe blades have small head size. Pro 03 might fit your needs
  3. Can Kim Kum Yong Become the Women Singles Champion?!

looks like a nightmare to play against. she blocks with it, punches with it, even loops with it
  4. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

On those greyzone 45 degree serves, should you be looking for whether they strike the ball during the downward pendulum motion or during the upward pendulum motion?
  5. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

Thanks so much! all that makes a lot of sense. So pay close attention to the racket angle. Vertical angle means it will be topspin. Horizontal angle means it likely will be underspin. What about if the paddle is a a "greyzone" 45 degree angle? Does that mean it will mostly be horizontal...
  6. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

Thanks for clarifying that. How do you know they are side topspin? What is the distinguishing factor that you can clearly see it? My eye sees a downward motion of the pendulum, so I'm worried that it could be underspin or deadish ball. Also, how would you be receiving this sidetop serve? Just...
  7. Victas Triple Double Extra review

    1. Definitely not tension sponge. It's a dense, chinese, very hard sponge. But it does have some "factory boosted" effect to it 2. Yes of course you can. But it will feel slow and hard to you coming from tensino rubber.
  8. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

I feel my weaknesses are very balanced all around. haha Fitness and Stamina 4/10 Serve, 6.5/10 Receive 5/10 Footwork 6/10 Topspin 8/10 So I think fitness and footwork are pretty weak. However, as many people pointed out, in TT fitness and footwork probably play a smaller role in actually...
  9. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

I'm glad that there seems to be some consensus that serve and receive are really what wins points. This is also true of sports like Tennis and Badminton, but I think the effect is even greater in Table Tennis. Within the scope of receiving well, would you say that being able to loop against...
  10. What's the difference between Butterfly and European rubbers?

I think very little difference. The only thing frustrating about Euro rubbers is that they often will shrink after cutting.
  11. Serve reading quiz

Ok i think i realized something. Sometimes the motion of the paddle is less important that the face angle. Even if the movement might seem to be moving downwards, it can only really produce underspin if the face is also facing up. If the face is mostly horizontal, it wont really be underspin.
  12. Serve reading quiz

This video is good too. I got a bunch of these wrong.
  13. Serve reading quiz

This video is pretty interesting. Does anybody want to try taking the quiz and posting your results? I'm really bad at this, but I will give it a try. 1. Sidespin (not sure if there is top/under). No idea how to read this. 2. Sidetop 3. light underspin 4. topspin 5. underspin 6. dead 7...
  14. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

Well no, I never said it's easy to get to 2100. But if I watched 20 hours of Craig Bryant's serves and was able read all of them, I certainly would be BIG step better than I am today.
  15. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

Maybe I will start by making my own video of these serves and ask TTD members to take a spin reading test. I don't think I can even read my own grey zone serves. When I serve, sometimes I don't even know what spin is on the serve. Sometimes I think it should be topspin, but i see my opponent...
  16. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

What I really want is just a youtube video facing the server where he does hundreds of serves and it tells you what kind of spin is on it. For example Craig Bryant's serves are just insane, especially his hook serve. Some of the receive tutorials have this, but it only shows a few serves and...
  17. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

So what is it about those guys that read the ball/spin and react so well? I find reading the serve the hardest part of the game. And deciding what stroke within a fraction of a second is the 2nd hardest part of the game.
  18. Rasanter R45 or G-1, more controllable?

I think G1, has a more natural and high throw angle, easy to clear the net and land on the table R45 often times didn't do what I thought it would
