  1. Why do some blades feel heavier, but are not actually heavier?

I have 2 paddles setup in front of me. The XVT ZL600 and the Yinhe Pro 03, both with Chinese rubbers on it. The Pro 03 weighs just 189g, and the ZL600 weighs 193g. But when I hold the paddles, the 03 feels much heavier and hard to maneuver. I'm not totally sure why. I think it has...
  2. Upgrage from Yinhe Big Dipper

Battle 2 and LAC are slower than BD. I think your best option is to boost
  3. Is it harder to learn to play table tennis or guitar

I think Table Tennis is harder. There's a lot more nuances, a lot more variables and things to go wrong. You can train an AI to play guitar well, but it'll be harder to train an AI to play Table Tennis
  4. Anyone try or use Loki Telson Speed or Telson Power blade.

How would you rate the stiffness of pro 01, 05, and telson power from 1-10?
  5. Anyone try or use Loki Telson Speed or Telson Power blade.

Is it stiffer than Pro 05? Because i already felt pro 05 to be too stiff
  6. Anyone try or use Loki Telson Speed or Telson Power blade.

How is the stiffness and feeling if the Telson Power vs Pro 05 and Pro 01?
  7. I finally won match against my LP boss

The 2100 LP chopper guy has been on a tear recently. He has been beating all the 2000 guys in our local league and his rating went up to 2115. Today I played him again and we both played at a higher level than we previously did. I changed my style for him this time. Instead of pushing to him...
  8. Reviewing big batch of rubbers

Unboosted FC 218 is really fast and hard to control, the dwell time is too low and the catch is not great. But after boosted, the rubber is very good. Surprisingly, it seems like the rubber is actually slower with booster. The dwell and catch got better after booster, and the rubber is much...
  9. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I have H41, and it's not that hard. Plays great
  10. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Have you tried DF Volant? That is excellent unboosted rubber. Probably the best
  11. Verawood inner KLC blade

I sold it to a friend, but generally it plays quite well. I didn't have any issues with it, except that mine was a bit heavy at 94g. The feeling is a bit different from the common koto or limba. Not night and day different, but just a different experience. Never tried pips, but hard sticky...
  12. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Let me know how the Telson Power compares with the Pro 05. I found the Pro 05 way too stiff and lacking in feeling and grab.
  13. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

How is the Telson Power? Is it quite stiff or does it have good feeling? Can you compare the stiffness to the Pro 05 or another blade you have?
  14. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I think the batches of this rubber are a bit inconsistent. I had 1 sheet of Rxton 3 Pro and it was quite good, and the 2nd sheet wasn't as good
  15. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I didn't like Pro 05 at all, and Rxton 7 was underwhelming for me too
  16. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

This is more consistent with what I found. The topsheet isn't as grippy as Kirin 1. And the rebound was somewhat dead. After boosting though, the rebound was massive.
  17. Real W968?

The core seems too thick as well
  18. What is the ranking/positioning or Loki Table Tennis Brands (rubber and blades)?

Loki is pretty confusing and inconsistent. For me, I find Arthur Asia and Arthur China to be their best rubbers, and they both react well to booster. If only they can fix the bonding weakness. Telson 100 has tremendous rebound/speed after boosting. Before boosting, I thought was...
