  1. CCBladecraft

Very interesting! I wonder if this is allowed by ittf rules. Playing a bat with 4 hitting areas- nice!
  2. Manufacturing problem in Xiom blades?

I have 2 Vega Pro and 2 Vega euro blades. No problems. Sold Viscaria and Harimoto as the Xioms are better for me (more forgiving and more control)
  3. Fastarc G-1, MAX vs 2.0mm?

I played 1,8 and 2,0mm before and now i got a max one in red. It plays softer and not as precise as the thinner ones- blade is the same. Maybe i got rather thin 1,8 and 2,0 and a real max sheet?
  4. Friendship 729 Battle 2 National vs Friendship 729 Battle 3

Wow, do you use protection sheets after cleaning? Have 2 Bloom Power and 2 Bloom Spin at higher age [2-3 Years) and can still lift the ball for seconds. Still more tacky than any hybrid rubber...
  5. Heavy but flexible blade.

Maybe you need something custom built. There is SDC, CC Blades or TT Manufaktur. I could also try to build something for you, but i only built 5 blades till now and i am no professionell. Id suggest a cypress or western red cedar core to get some weight and use a basalt outer type cause its...
  6. Cheap alternative to D05?

Have you seen the spin of K3?
  7. A somewhat flexible composite blade with a soft feeling

It says so on the soulspin webside. But i am with you in this point- id take a layer of koto under the soft and thick top ply!
  8. A somewhat flexible composite blade with a soft feeling

Well for the roots 6 its abachi and that is rather soft
  9. A somewhat flexible composite blade with a soft feeling

Istnt the meister basalt the same as the roots 6 from soulspin? Then it has a kiri core plus abachi...
  10. A somewhat flexible composite blade with a soft feeling

The basalt is not heavier than other fibers if you select the right density. Mine is 150g/m2 and you need similar amount of epoxy like for carbon or alc.
  11. A somewhat flexible composite blade with a soft feeling

Ive built mine with kiri, abachi, basalt and limba. Plays nice. I will try cypress as outer veneer next time (hinoki is hard to get)...
  12. A somewhat flexible composite blade with a soft feeling

But with zlc, not basalt. The roots6 from soulspin is "only" 160€. Kiri, Abachi, Basalt Spruce
  13. A somewhat flexible composite blade with a soft feeling

Ive built a few basalt blades by myself and i can confirm, that these are spin monsters! But also nice for blocking as i am using Kiri core which absorbs some energy. I suggest everyone with some tools at home to try diy blade building. It isnt that hard and is fun as well!
  14. Miracle of Long 5

Those blades are not ITTF legit!
  15. Post your latest EJ purchase

Looks like the veneer got some sun but was covered at the edge? I dont think it matters, just looks strange.

  17. How durable is Tibhar Hybrid MK?

This is also my experience with GTPS and K3. The Tango needs full stroke all the time, the K3 is much easier to activate though in the beginning this causes some errors with balls going too long. After 4 weeks with the k3 i will give the GTPS another try. I have one on the racket and 2 brand...
  18. G-1

Ok, so K3 is also direct and even alot harder than the G1- must have a lower arc following your rule? It hasnt!
  19. Dignics 09c vs Sanwei Target National new version vs Jupiter 3 Asia vs DHS 8-80 for FH on TB ALC blade

What abou Tibhar K3? Doesnt last as long as the d09c (ive heard) but its a lot cheaper if you buy it with discount... I played a few chinese rubbers (h3, h8, bloom spin, bloom power, origin soft, geospin tacky) but nothing comes close to the k3. Ive to say i only boosted the bloom power once...
