Istnt the meister basalt the same as the roots 6 from soulspin? Then it has a kiri core plus abachi...

The basalt is not heavier than other fibers if you select the right density. Mine is 150g/m2 and you need similar amount of epoxy like for carbon or alc.

Ive built mine with kiri, abachi, basalt and limba. Plays nice. I will try cypress as outer veneer next time (hinoki is hard to get)...

But with zlc, not basalt. The roots6 from soulspin is "only" 160€. Kiri, Abachi, Basalt Spruce

Ive built a few basalt blades by myself and i can confirm, that these are spin monsters! But also nice for blocking as i am using Kiri core which absorbs some energy. I suggest everyone with some tools at home to try diy blade building. It isnt that hard and is fun as well!

Looks like the veneer got some sun but was covered at the edge? I dont think it matters, just looks strange.

This is also my experience with GTPS and K3. The Tango needs full stroke all the time, the K3 is much easier to activate though in the beginning this causes some errors with balls going too long. After 4 weeks with the k3 i will give the GTPS another try. I have one on the racket and 2 brand...

Ok, so K3 is also direct and even alot harder than the G1- must have a lower arc following your rule? It hasnt!

What abou Tibhar K3? Doesnt last as long as the d09c (ive heard) but its a lot cheaper if you buy it with discount... I played a few chinese rubbers (h3, h8, bloom spin, bloom power, origin soft, geospin tacky) but nothing comes close to the k3. Ive to say i only boosted the bloom power once...

Next try is a real combi blade. BH wallnut but slow, VH Limba and a little faster.
