  1. Post your latest EJ purchase

The hardest part is to create the handle. I have no professional tools, so you see its improvised. Composition is limba, abachi, glasfiber, kiri, glasfiber, abachi, koto. 5,7mm, 1260hz, 83,5g. I will try it tomorrow. I made the same with limba on both sides but it got too heavy with 90g as...
  2. BB's thread about higher frequency blades being faster.

I think its not worth any discussion if you dont understand the basics of physical laws. You find the answer in my post. What you describe as "capturing the energy" is simply a transition into heat. Do you know the little hand training tools (for climbers)? Just perform a few exercises and you...
  3. BB's thread about higher frequency blades being faster.

No, its not another thing! If the energy isnt absorbed (or transformed into heat), it has to be returned. There is no energy lost in any system! Either its stored in movement, tension, heat, electricity or in a mixture. There maybe even more forms of energy, i am no physician...

  12. Should I buy DHS Long 5

If you feel fine the way you loop and you have a satisfying succes rate, why change anything? Nobody is perfect and as it has been said before, there are enough examples of good players who didnt have a technique as actually teached. (Look at Werner Schlager, strange FH loop but he was a...
  13. Should I buy DHS Long 5

My coach told me to get out the elbow like there is space for a tennis ball in your armpit. In older days they literally fixed a ball there to get the right angle for the arm.
  14. Is EJing good for improving?

I am happy to see those matches off vs def like boll vs Joo Se-hyuk. In my view this is an enrichment for table tennis and I respect people doing such things with long pips. I tryed it myself and can say it is not as easy as it looks like. I recommend every hater to try this!
  15. Should I buy DHS Long 5

Why would he want to take out energy? Just give it back 😜 Strange you didnt like the c1, maybe top thick sponge?

  17. Should I buy DHS Long 5

Id go for the c1 on backhand. The HL5 has quiet some catapult on harder shots and a high trajectory- i wouldnt want something too soft and bouncy on it. Also the C1 is very durable!
  18. "wrapping" the ball.

Just tryed the following: With your free hand throw the ball up a little (from the height of your waist), than chop the ball down towards the floor. Keep moving on while changing the racket angle and direction till it faces the other way around. The ball will go upwards in the end. What is this...
