That's true, but you don't find this much amongst the major brands, mainly amongst the small Chinese brands which are MUCH cheaper.

I've literally glued hundred of H3 Neo over the years, as it's quite popular here. I've never seen one with finger prints on, the surface always looks good. However there are very significant variations in tackiness and also the sponge hardness, even when they're marked as being the same.

I assume they're not ITTF approved? If not, the "3 star" means nothing, anyone can put that on their balls.

I've tried that one too, having the same thought. I was disappointed though, the topsheet just doesn't have that same tack/grip and the throw felt a lot lower (for brush loops).
