I found the HK1997 a bit slowish when brush looping. A rubber like DHS Hurricane 3 NEO gives a bit higher speed with the same or more spin, but then you might lose some control.

Check out Andro Hexer Grip & PowerGrip. They are a both a bit harder than Ventus Spin,, grippy and not as much catapult as the Rasanter rubbers.

The H8 is more direct and you get more effect out of it when brushing the ball. The PK50 has a perhaps harder sponge, but the feeling is softer. I didn't get very much out of it when brushing, but there's good spin and nice control. Check out XIOM TAU II as well. It's somewhere in between these two.

Why not check out Andro Hexer Grip and Powergrip. These are very nice rubbers with a lot of grip and very controllable. The Xiom Omega V Tour is also a really nice rubber. Very good spin and control and not too bouncy.
